For a true Italian hospitality and cultural experience don't miss this one!! - We stayed at Maryelen from the 7th till the 11th of November.I had lower expcetations,because it is a 2 star hotel ,BUT everything was excellent.The people are really friendly, the rooms were clean (there was a maid comming everyday),the food was nice,it is really maimly sweets,but its Rome ;) If you asked for a toast or something else,they are going to make it for you :) It was really nice place to stay ,thank you very much !

  We stayed here for 10 days it became our home away from home. The room was bright, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large and also comfortable. Lu made our stay memorable. She treated us like family and was extremely helpful to me when I sprained my ankle; she sent my husband out to the pharmacy for a special cream and came to ... was die leute sagen » the room with ice for my ankle and a tray with hot tea and cake. She also gave us great advice on places to eat. Casa di Eddy is located wonderfully - The staff were friendly, hotel was lovely and clean. There was a kitchen which had a fridge you could use and cakes / tea / coffee left out . Free breakfast from the cafe across the road. We had the economy room with the external bathroom. 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum although we did walk to the Vatican which took an hour. The metro station was around the corner and for 1.50 euros takes you to the Vatican in 10mins. If you have never been to Rome there isnt really a central location to vis

  Rome is expensive & as we were only there for 2 nights this seemed like a good value option. Location was good with bus & metro routes nearby but we walked everywhere. Paolo texted, emailed and called to ensure he would be there on our arrival even though I had said we would be there for around 6pm and we didn't arrive til 8.20 (we travell... was die leute sagen » ed from Garda). He was very helpful and good humoured. We had the larger room (in the photo) myself, husband, 2 kids (9 & 6). Comfortable, aircon, - Kevin who greeted us was super friendly and helpfull. Met Paolo too, the owner who was nice. Cadorna is like a home away from home with accessible kitchen 24 hours with a well stocked pantry. There was yoghurt, milk, juice, bread, coffee machine, cereals, biscuits and fresh brioche in the morning. As i was travelling with my 10 month old son we could use the kitchen facilities anytime to prepare his food. The wifi was super fast and uninterrupted during my stay which is a plus point.
