Prior to choosing Hotel Al Piave, I had read the negative customer ratings just to see what the worst case scenario could end being, along with how the hotel management responded. The only negative comment could have be - We had a family suite for four, ideal for us with two adult children on the trip with us. Great location for exploring Venice. Easy to get to other areas on foot. Friendly, comfortable & clean family run hotel. Lovely breakfast & rooms serviced daily with clean towels & toiletries. Staff helpful with lots of advice, maps provided & guidance for getting around & where to go.
