  We recently enjoyed a 2 night stay at Hotel Casa Boccassini for our honeymoon. The hotel is tucked away and we did have to look hard to find it however if you do your research beforehand it will be easy to locate. When you first walk into the hotel there is a beautiful garden courtyard with chairs which is a nice serene place for the weary trave... was die leute sagen » ller to take a load off your feet. The rooms are nice, fairly small and nothing fancy with slightly outdated furniture, however the ensuite was new a - Cheap for Venice but still well over 100 euros per night. Cean comfortable and with lovely garden giving friendly homely feel. In a quieter part of Venice which is a huge plus after battling through the crowds around Rialto and St Marks square. Still only a few minutes walk from centre so why pay more for a slightly more central location? Receptionist didn't speak English but extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Breakfast in garden was not the most generous but in a delightful setting.

Room was a great size, with instantly hot shower - have heard that in Venice you can get both a small room and bad water pressure but no issues on this side. Staff very helpful, we got to check in early as the room was ready and they kept our bags safe on the last day until late at night. Also ate in the restaurant which was good food, staff here more than helpful as the terrace flooded during high tide and they piggy back

Our room faced the inner court so it was very silent, the room was large with old fashioned furniture which gave us retro feeling - it was nice. But you need bring your own shampoo and showering gel.

  The location was more than excellent! It was very easy to find even for those who don't know Venice. It was very near to the main square and to the "vaporetto" stations. No more than 5 minutes on foot. Especially the staff was too helpful and polite. They were excellent. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The stairs were funny. The staff are very kind, rooms are clean. We live in the top floor and from the window there you can see the bell tower in St. Marco square.
