  It was a very nice hotel in Agra. It is fairly close to the Taj Mahal which was a welcome since I easily walked it to enter this exquisite structure at sunrise. This hotel is directly associated to the Maya Hotel across the main street and found their restaurant to be very good and tasty. Very helpful with all my needs, even before I arrived at the the hote - The newer hotel is across the road from the original and thats the one to stay in ..its set back. Our room, double delux was lovely, contemporary lovely decor and the bathroom was great. .wonderful shower, hot running water. We ate across the road at the original hotel. ..the food was very good. The location is perfect for the Taj Mahal a 10 - 15 min walk...go early, 6am as we did, you get your entry ticket, shoe covers and a single entry in.... From our hotel roof you get a glimpse of the Taj

We did get upgraded to a business class room so it was even nicer. The value for money was really great. Since it's so close to the Taj Mahal, you can just walk there. The restaurant has a wide selection on the buffet. The pool is also quite nice.

  We had the most wonderful experience at the hotel. We arrived early one morning (8.30am) and were escorted to our room; asked for a late check out the next day and once again, they obliged. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The restaurant was very pleasant and the food was delicious; the waiters even had a laugh with us... was die leute sagen » . We could not be more happy with The Gateway Hotel Fatehabad Agra and will sure to recommend it to others who wish to visit Agra. We loved the fact t - The hotel was beautifully decorated, the rooms were spacious and well equipped. We booked ourselves in for a massage which was very good although at £35 for an hour - quite expensive. Staff were friendly and helpful although probably a little too imposing. The pool looked lovely although it was too cold when we visited to actually swim in it. The room had a a view of the Taj Mahal.

  Excellent hotel for the price. The location is awesome. You can buy the Tickets to the taj at the reception and they can arrange for the shuttle to stop at the hotel for going to the Taj Mahal. We had 3 rooms to us and as my mother was old, we had asked for a late checkout for one of the rooms and they politely accepted our reques - Reception was good. Mr. Anand was very helpful. The room was nice and clean. The location was perfect for visit to Taj Mahal. Food was good but could improve. The roof top was a nice place to hangout. The swimming pool looked very nice but I couldn't use it since water was too cold. Will definitely go back whenever possible. All in all was a good experience. I would recommend this hotel to all.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff had a very flexible attitude towards guests knowing many try to get to the Taj early. The hotel staff ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible by going out of their way to help us. They also assisted with finding a booking local attractions.

Agra fort is really close too (about 10 mins cab ride) the hotel had a cafe and restaurant which was the cleanest I've seen in The nearby areas. - I personally felt like it is located very near to taj and is more secured and the facilities available there are really good and maintained well.   This was the most luxurious place we stayed on our visit to India. Moses responded to my e-mails promptly and arranged pick-up from the train station and a car to take us to the Taj Mahal and on to Jaipur the next day; Rabi, our driver, was not only an excellent driver (very important on Indian roads filled with horse-drawn carts, water buffalo, ... was die leute sagen » cars driving in the wrong direction etc.), but an enthusiatic guide. We were greeted on arrival at the hotel and had a wonderful restful evening after - Check in was smooth .Room size was big which makes us feel very comfortable as we have 2 young kids with us and and free space is sometimes not available in smaller rooms. All the basics facilities were very well taken care of and staff was supportive. My wife went for spa and kind of liked the experience..
