It was a very nice hotel in Agra. It is fairly close to the Taj Mahal
which was a welcome since I easily walked it to enter this exquisite
structure at sunrise. This hotel is directly associated to the Maya
Hotel across the main street and found their restaurant to be very good

The newer hotel is across the road from the original and thats the one to stay in ..its set back. Our room, double delux was lovely, contemporary lovely decor and the bathroom was great. .wonderful shower, hot running water. We ate across the road at the original hotel. ..the food was very good.
The location is perfect for the Taj Mahal a 10 - 15 min walk...go early, 6am as we did, you get your entry ticket, shoe covers and a single entry in....
From our hotel roof you get a glimpse of the Taj

The staff were great and tended to our every need.
The bar staff were very nice and gave us agift on our anniversary.
The in room balcony dinner was superb and made our special night even more memorable.

very clean, modern and comfortable hotel. Nice food.- and the breakfast staff were especially good. Good bathroom showers and comfortable beds. Great location too. Really nice western standard luxury hotel. We did get upgraded to a business class room so it was even nicer. The value for money was really great. Since it's so close to the Taj Mahal, you can just walk there. The restaurant has a wide selection on the buffet. The pool is also quite nice.

We had the most wonderful experience at the hotel. We arrived early one morning (8.30am) and were escorted to our room; asked for a late check out the next day and once again, they obliged. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The restaurant was very pleasant and the food was delicious; the waiters even had a laugh with us

The hotel was beautifully decorated, the rooms were spacious and well
equipped. We booked ourselves in for a massage which was very good
although at £35 for an hour - quite expensive. Staff were friendly and
helpful although probably a little too imposing. The pool looked lovely
although it was too cold when we visited to actually swim in it. The
room had a a view of the Taj Mahal.

The hotel is amazing in every aspect!! Very beatiful, great atmosphere, the pool is always blue, great service at the pool. The staff is amazing and hepfull. Food breakfast is 800rupees, but worth a lot, it is a buffe wide variety of indian and western food. The room is very nice! Spcace enough, great bed, silent. 10m walking from Taj Mahal! -

Tickets to the taj at the reception and they can arrange for the shuttle
to stop at the hotel for going to the Taj Mahal. Special mention to the

Reception was good. Mr. Anand was very helpful. The room was nice and clean. The location was perfect for visit to Taj Mahal. Food was good but could improve. The roof top was a nice place to hangout. The swimming pool looked very nice but I couldn't use it since water was too cold. Will definitely go back whenever possible. All in all was a good experience. I would recommend this hotel to all.

The rooms at The Retreat are lovely and much larger than those at other similarly priced hotels in Agra, bathrooms are well appointed. Breakfast was excellent and the staff had a very flexible attitude towards guests knowing many try to get to the Taj early. The hotel food is great - we had the room service which was excellent and well-priced. -

The hotel staff ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible by going out of their way to help us. They also assisted with finding a booking local attractions.

You can walkey to Taj Mahal from the hotel. Agra fort is really close too (about 10 mins cab ride) the hotel had a cafe and restaurant which was the cleanest I've seen in The nearby areas. -
I personally felt like it is located very near to taj and is more secured and the facilities available there are really good and maintained well. Keep it up

Check in was smooth .Room size was big which makes us feel very comfortable as we have 2 young kids with us and and free space is sometimes not available in smaller rooms. We were able to thoroughly enjoy Agra and made new friends at the homestay, especially the host were -
Aman Honestay is such a lovely place to stay tucked away on a quiet gated street but still close to monuments like the taj and Agra fort. The host family is lovely and so accommodating, they will help you in any way possible.
The rooms are large and comfortable. we had a large attached bathroom with a good hot shower.
In the evening we would relax in the dining area and socialise with the family and the other guests. This was a great place to meet other travellers and to share stories.
