The hotel is in an attractive neighborhood and right opposite the Hallerstrasse subway station, which is one stop from the Dammtor regional train station (much nicer than the Hauptbahnhof main station in Hamburg). I also felt very safe in the area. Some rooms have no bathroom, so you need to make sure what you're after...
