  Very small rooms, but clean and comfortable. Quiet location except for two guard dogs next door!! Adequate breakfast. Recommend for inexpensive overnight in a country that is expensive. - The hotel is comfortable and clean. Very silent too.

  It is the first time I have stayed at a hotel anywhere in the world and the description of the hotel and facilities have been accurate. A very enjoyable stay and the food was excellent. - We only stayed one night however the hotel building, an old abbey isamazing and rooms and staff to a very high standard. Great Deal thanks!

  Free parking first of all. This was a wonderful hotel. The young lady ar reception was very friendly and helpful. The beautiful bedroom was air-conditioned - lovely after the scorching temperatures outside! The room was really quiet overnight and the big double bed so comfortable. Breakfast was gorgeous - the best croissants of our holiday. - Breakfast is good value but need to replace items quickly when they run out. Bathrooms are excellent. Air conditioning very effective and quiet. Don't be put off by the fact the hotel can look "closed" when you turn up.

  This was a luxurious one night stay for us. The owners are lovely and are suceeding in their endeavours to stay ahead of the competition. The location is excellent, easy walking distance to the centre where restuarants abound .   I traveled through the town of Bourges last year abnd was so facinated by the old city that I wanted to return. I saw the hotel online and it sounded interesting. I reeived an email from the owners questioning if I realy wantted an appartment as that is what i had booked. They have both appartments for longer staying guests, and standard rooms ... was die leute sagen » for those staying one or two nights. I was moved into the hotel whih was appointed quite well with period furnishings and a very comfortable bed. I - Receptionist and owner were both extremely helpful in suggesting things to see. The location is wonderful and parking is really secure. You must book to guarantee one of the limited spaces but there is plenty of free parking nearby. we stayed inLles Tours which is up a flight and a half of stairs not a problem for 63 year olds but bear in mind. Good breakfast delivered to room which made a nice change. The renovation has been done very well, and its a real treasure store but still good value an

The Bourges Marais, the famous marshlands park is also just a couple of streets away. Staying in Maison du Théâtre Saint Bonnet is like being a family guest in a well appointed old house, with spacious rooms, large bathrooms, very comfortable bed, and archite - We had a great welcome by the very friendly and hospitable owners. Our room and bathroom was very large and comfortable. We were given a private piano recital in the beautiful theatre. The pool and breakfast were superb. We were escorted to a fantastic restaurant by the owner and introduced, where we had a the best meal of our two week holiday at a very reasonable cost. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners at the hotel and we loved the opulent décor and designer clutter! Bourges old city
