  The architectural and interior design elements of this historic property, plus the attention to detail are evident in every square inch (centimeter?!) of this immaculately cared for B&B. Each morning, the breakfast room greeted us with a different table setting, and a variety of home-made jams, baked goods, and yogurts! We will definitely tell - The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful yet in a discreet way. Our room was wonderfully furnished and decorated in an antique style that 'themed' with the royal city of Loches. Tired from travelling we lounged in the sunshine in the little garden. It was very peaceful and quiet and great taste everywhere.

  An outstanding choice for a bed and breakfast location in Amboise in the Loire Valley. Excellent location close to the major walking street shops and excellent restaurants as well as the chateau and Clos de Luce -the Da Vinci house,Tastefully furnished and beautifully decorated comfortable accomodations and a magnificent walled garden and swimmin... was die leute sagen » g pool. Excellent breakfast and a wonderful ambience throughout. However the most oustanding aspect of Au Charme Rabelaisien was our hostess Sylvie wh - This was a delightful B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was enormous. The bathroom was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have stayed in, with a large bath in which to luxuriate. We also enjoyed the town. Very relaxed and with many dining options to choose from. An ideal place as a base to explore the Loire Valley and it's many Chateaus. Our host Sylvie was a delight. Extremely helpful and obliging , with a wonderful bubbly personality. Would rate this as the best B & B we h
