  Great budget family run hotel with fabulous gourmet restaurant.Good location within walking distance to the center of Amboise. We stayed not in the main building but in separate cottage facing beautiful old garden. The staff was very helpful (the owner and his wife are always at the front desk). The restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday so need to be aware of this and have other plans. The motel is out of town and I think you need access to a vehicle to stay here especially in cold wet weather.
