  It was such a surprise to see the level of detail and care that these owners have put into this hotel. The rooms are fantastic, sitting area's outside area, wonderful views everything has been so well though out. Being a regular hotel user this hotel merits a minimum 4 star, we were also amazed that they have self catering cottages.   Everything! Phillipe was a super host, the hotel design was very well thought out for an old building, rooms, restaurant, garden and pool area were immaculate and extremely comfortable. The locatio being only 2 minutes from the motorway to Limoges made it extremely convenient.   What not to like! The hotel,small,charming and personalized. The Proprietress/front of house was warm,caring - and without gush. The room was spotlessly clean,also the bathroom, good quality towels and a well designed shower recess. No wonder the dining rooms were full, not just hotel guests, I imagine diners from nearby Limoge - The room was excellent, tastefully decorated with a large comfy bed and a superb walk-in shower. The food in the restaurant was absolutely superb, really top quality cuisine for a very reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

  We booked a room with 2 separated beds but because this room had a problem in the bathroom, they offered useach one (great) room, without any extra charge. Rooms are simply fantastic, if you like castles, antique furniture and thousands of decoration everywhere :-). Extremely quiet location though close to city of Limoges - Beautiful Chateau with... was die leute sagen » very friendly owners . The scenery is amazing and the chateau is full of amazing history. Remember it is only bed and breakfast so you will need to drive a couple of miles for dinner but I would definately stay here again. If you are considering Limoges stay here instead.
