  The hotel was modern and welcoming in a traditional village square just outside Deauville and Honfleur.The owner was wonderful and suggested a local restaurant which was excellent. Breakfast was exceptional and all the ingredients were locally sourced. It was a very comfortable stop off on the road south. Its a great location as its near Le harve if you're getting the ferry and need a stop over on the way to it and also its only 20mins to the lovely town of Honfleur. Our room was also very clean.

  Perhaps the prettiest hotel we stayed at in a month of travelling through France. The hostess was very welcoming, the room beautifully decorated, and the hotel is in a very old historical building right on the riverfront. There was a lovely garden outside for evening aperitifs, and the breakfast was the best we had in a month. - Lovely situation ... was die leute sagen » on the banks of the Seine.. step outside the garden and watch the barges go by. Bedroom was not huge but interestingly furnished and a lovely view up to the chateau perched on the cliff. Amazing breakfast, probably the best we have ever had in France. So much choice! Easy to find a parking space just outside.

Although the person at reception at the Grand Cerf was a little odd, staff at the neighbouring hotel where the spa is located were lovely and allowed us to keep our bicycles in their closed garage.
