Rooms were very well designed, whilst small, they made excellent use of the space, you felt cocooned in luxury. The staff were relaxed but very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The bar area was lovely, very relaxing and great for having a long leisurely breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was great, while just continental the coffee was fantastic and all the food very fresh and tasty. I really liked the location, I didn't know the area previously but there were some good .

Great boutique hotel experience in trendy Marais district. Stylish modern decor of both common area and rooms gives guests a sense of being part of the in-scene. Note: fresh flowers in room go well beyond 5 star expectations. Staff is extremely accommodating in handling early arrivals (10:00AM) and providing recommendations to local hot spots. Within reasonable distance of Louvre, Orangerie, Notre Dame, etc and within 2 blocks of metro. Highly recommend. All bases were covered: comfortable, clean bed, a fantastic, ultra-modern shower (one of my initial reasons for booking), nice touch with daily fresh water, solid-looking safe for your rubies. Staff were very nice and helpful too. It's location is spot-on; La Marais is ideal for walking distance food and drink, close to the Metro and Gare Du Nord. Will definitely return one day, and will be recommending to all my classy friends. I loved the entire stay. The accommodations are beautifully designed with a lovely balcony and an excellent courtyard in which to eat a very good breakfast. The hotel was conveniently located near the metro and within walking distance to many sights. The staff were both friendly and helpful making this one of the best places I have stayed in as a veteran traveller. My room on the top floor was tiny but well designed and beautiful with door to roof terrace and a skylight over the bed. The outdoor patio with fireplace and living sculptural wall of greens was lovely and the breakfasts there or in the bar were as appealing and delicious as any I've had anywhere in my travels, including 5* hotels. The location is great, just in the heart of Marais. The hotel has a unique, contemporary design which is appealing to those who like to stay at design hotels with a reasonable budget. The shower was perfect with its rain shower and Molton Brown shampoo and shower gels. It's a very quiet hotel, too. The staff were very friendly and informal. The rooms were small but very modern and well designed. Loved the massive shower head and press button blinds and lights. The position was excellent - 5 minutes walk from the Pompidou Centre but on a very quiet road. Good breakfast too. We loved being smack dab in the heart of Le Marais, with plentiful cafes, restaurants, galleries and chic boutiques nearby. The rooms are super small, but well designed and with lovely toiletries. The hotel bar is a blast, as is the morning breakfast beside the living green wall. This hotel is truly boutique in that almost every room is completely unique. Amazing hotel with friendly and helpful staff especially Guillaume, "Erotique" (the Czech lady) and Jeffoire, the owner who made us very welcome. Good location for the Picasso Museum (closed to summer 2013 unfortunately) and place des Vosges. About 15 minutes walk to Notre Dame. Comfortable rooms. The only thing I didn't like was the price - while I the hotel was excellant in my opinion, I found it very expensive and would not be able to go back regularly for that reason. I dont have GPS so I still had to turn on cellular data and voice roaming to make a phone call to get directions to hotel. Enjoyed drinks at bar (at reasonable prices) whose ambience is super but went to local Patisseries for breakfast (18 euro breakfast seems high). Hotel bar prices were a little high, but in retrospect the drinks were well-made (I had a very fine Lagavulin 16 year-old, and my girlfriend a Hendrick's and tonic) and surroundings very pleasant, stylish, comfortable. Barman was a nice guy too, attentive and friendly. Not really too much of a minus then, but be prepared for the prices. The room could have been a bit larger, but it was typical for Paris. Nothing much. The elevator was not working the first night we were there, so we had to climb the stairs, but it wasn't a big deal. The room was smaller than I expected. But I think this is a common problem with most of the Paris hotels. The room was quite small. Absolutely nothing other than better signage needed to the entrance of the hotel. The breakfast was a little expensive. Rooms slightly small but very well appointed. Room was TINY. No desk, no couch, no chairs- the smallest hotel room I've seen. Also there was no minibar and the bar closed pretty early. So this isn't great for jetlagged business travelers. The whole place lacks a certain charm- it is modern and cute but there are better hotels in the Marais that feel more authentic and Parisian. Deliveries to the handbag shops often blocked the street and it was difficult, and expensive, to get taxis down the street to the hotel Our room was very small, but we knew that in advance and it meant we had a wonderful view. No minibar in rooms, bar quite expensive even for a hotel bar and for Paris, second room key card for double room would be convenient. nothing!. The neighborhood immediately around the hotel is very odd. Amazing number of shops selling only Chinese imports so you has to walk a few block to feel like you are in Paris not lower broadway in NYC! It is close to all the bistros and cafes in Le Marias but if you wanted to go out for a coffee, there is no cafe right there (so don't as their breakfast is the best!). The courtyard area could be a bit noisy late at night, but not necessarily from the hotel. Bit of noise from the room above us. A fridge in the room would be nice too. Breakfast is little bit expensive. Drinks are a bit expensive. It's a bit away from the area I needed to be in. Liked everything. Why do compact design rooms never have space for suitcases?. Trendy bar clientele - felt like I had to be fashionable to step out of my room!. Little expensive. Smallness of room, noises. Nothing. Our room looked out onto courtyard where people had drinks from bar in evening so everyone can watch you going in and out of your room. Room a little small. Nothing!. The bar shut before 11pm so check before you go out if you want a night cap after dinner. extremely small rooms for the price!. The room is very, very small (no place for luggage). There is no mini bar in the room. The bottle of water given for free in the room was open and smelled. Amenities are very poor and insufficient for two persons (one towel, and one tiny shampoo bottle for two). Nobody proposed to help with the luggage.
