The hotel itself was very unassuming which in and of itself was not a problem, just not what I'm use to. From the word go the staff was very friendly and attentive. I only speak english and this was not a problem at all. The room was very very small but as I was traveling alone it was not a problem. The wifi reception was good, although, it did take a few minutes to connect a few times. Location was just minutes away from a METRO station. If you choose to walk you are in a great spot to reach m. alle bewertungen »
Hotel Mimosa was an excellent value and a wonderful find for Paris. It is modest but very clean and updated. The staff was friendly and helpful beyond expectation. We speak almost no french and they were very accommodating and went out of their way to help us with directions and suggestions. There was someone at the desk 24 hours. I traveled in a group of 8 and felt comfortable having older children on another floor. I am grateful to have found Hotel Mimosa through letsbookhotel.com and .
The people working in the hotel were super friendly. We arrived early in the morning but the room was ready already. The room was big, especially looking at Paris standards and had all you need. The bed was comfortable and the location was perfect. You almost don´t need to use the metro and you can walk to direction Marais or Grand Boulevard. Next time I will stay here defenitely again.
Wonderful staff who help the elderly to carry some of our carry luggage up the stairs and also to book a taxi for us to the airport.
Excellent location in town. Near to metro Strassbourg-St Denis which has a few lines passing through it.
Room comes with good free wifi, kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, disposable cups & spoons.
Rain shower in bathroom.
Having read other reviews I was pleased to find the hotel was as
described. No street presence but the room was compact, very clean,
comfortable and quiet (I had a room at the back). It was in a great
location and easy to get to the places I wanted to see. The staff were
friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
The location is very good, near to the metro4.8.9,especially for the tourists who want to go shopping or visit opera. You can get. off. At stop Saint Denis' and go out from at exit 3.And Aldi The staffs are very nice.I lost the clothes in the room and the cleaner found iT and gave me later.
The staff was very fiendly and helpful always willing to help us with our needs. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was very spacious which is unusual in europe. The hotel was very well located, close the the metro station and just besides it we found a supermarket.
The room is spacious, clean, attached bathroom, simple, very near to metro station, 24 hours reception and the most beautiful thing is the staff are forever helpful and friendly and the price is very reasonable. Its better than staying in BNB. Cheers and keep up the good work.
The room was pleasantly nice. The staff crew provided an excellent
customer service in which made me think about returning to Paris and
staying again at the their hotel. The place is very clean, near to stratsbourg-
saint Denis station. It is isn't even 3 minutes by walking.
Great location, 2 min away from metro station, 10-15 min away (walking distance) from Centre Pompidou and 7 min away from La Republique. Lots of nice bistros around. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean & cosy rooms. Would definitely recommend for few day stay in Paris.
Great location, 2 minutes from a Metro and a short walk to the Pompidou. Beside a supermarket and amongst a lot of bar and restaurants. The room was ideal for a solo traveller, bed was comfy and it was clean. The bathroom was compact but very cleverly designed.
Overall review is Excellent for budget traveler. Room is clean and had
everything you could hope for. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nearby train station is Strasbourg St Denis (line 9). Walking distance
from metro is only 5 minutes.
The staff is very friendly and very helpful.
The rooms are cleaned every day.
The hotel is very close to metro, but if you like to walk, many attractions can be reached by walking.
Wi-Fi is available and connection is fast.
Nice staff, if you arrive ahead of time, they will be free to help you keep your luggage. Although no elevator, the staff will help you fast carry your luggage. Clean room and convenience place which is near to metro.
everything was great...the staff was very nice, the room was small but comfy. Metro station is just a minutes walk away and there are plenty of restaurants around. and its quite affordable as well. Highly recommended.
For some reason, we got more than we bargained for - a huge room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, up a very steep staircase and with a view of the rooftops. Kettle and teabags in the room were also a nice touch.
Friendly staff, great location. We had an attic-style room on the top
floor, which had a large window and a lovely view out to the distinctly
Parisian buildings opposite. :) Nice fresh decor, spotlessly clean.
- it was very central, easy to even walk to the central places.
- eventhough it is like a medium-standard hotel, the welcoming personnel was very helpful specifically in arrangement of my very early flight.
The rooms were really clean, the staff were lovely and the location was good. There is a Metro near by and there is also bikes you can rent which were fantastic and will get you where you need to go fast.
Very good shower. Plenty of hot water, modern and clean.
Room had everything you could hope for, plenty of power points.
Very close to metro station.
Late closing supermarket downstairs a plus too.
Staff were welcoming, friendly and knowledgable about the city.
Our room was small, but clean and comfortable.
It was easy to walk to attractions and close to a metro station.
The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was a decent size,
exceptionally clean and was equipped with a tea/coffee maker.
Location very close to underground station.
The room and the facilities was enough for a sightseeing vacation.Metro station was very close,so transportation is not a problem, also very central location.
It's a quite central located hotel, very near to the metro station.
No luxury but very cozy! The shower is also amazing! Staff are very
attentive as well!.
The staff was extremely friendly. My flight was cancelled and they even let me use their computer to check flights and print my boarding passes!.
Paris is a very expensive city, but this was reasonably priced place
that is very clean and well run. Exactly what you would hope to get.
- Clean large rooms
- Friendly - english speaking - stuff
- Close to metro and Paris Centre
- Quietness (rooms in the back building).
Clean comfortable room and close to gates of Paris - good shopping nearby and lower prices in the Cafes compared to tourist areas.
This was a basic small venue perfect if you are travelling and not wanting to spend much time in the accommodation. Good value.
The room was newly renovated, nice and clean.
We arrived at 11:00 and we were given a room (didn't need to wait until 15:00).
Very good price for value.
The hotel was recently renovated and very clean
Modern Bath Rooms
Free Internet
good location.
Newly renovated and decent room. God value for money. Good location for Gare du Nord and walking around central Paris.
The room was very close to a metro station, which made travelling easy. Room was also very clean and comfortable.
Good location. 2mins to the metro station. Clean and comfortable. The staffs are very nice and helpful.
Good for a stop over. Good area for local restaurants. Staff Helped us with our bags to top floor.
spacious rooms, late check out times, clean bathrooms, nice staff, free biscuits, coat hangers.
NO1.shower room is very...comfortable.
NO2.4 people room is spacious.
NO.3price is availble.
Clean hotel with, by Paris standards, a big room for a good price. Nice friendly staff.
good location, close to 3 metro lines. small but clean room, enough for sleeping.
The staff was friendly and helped me as much as they could during my stay there.
Location very close to the subway and Paris center. Clean room and bathroom.
Excellent location in the center of Paris, everything was new and clean.
Simply budget hotel. Room was clean and basic, good shower and quiet.
- everything was as expected
- everything was impeccable.
Close to the metro. Clean
Close to nice restaurant.
staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable.
so near to metro, good location.
clear and comfort.
Perfect location basic but what we needed!!.
clean warm room with all the essentials.
Clean, handy location, value for money.
Carrying luggage up the stairs and no air conditioning.
No elevator. No breakfast provided.
The stairs are terrible. This is an old building and of course I
expected stairs. The problem is that these stairs are steep and the
treads are shallow. It really does make hauling luggage up and down
difficult. Having said that staff assisted me to take my luggage down a
flight from the check in/out desk.
Reception was under construction, but everything worked well.
It misses an elevator for the guests who carry lots of luggage and
staying at the highest floors.
Having to drag my case up 3 flights of stairs and the walls are quite thin. No air conditioning or fan.
No kettle. Hotel difficult to locate.
nothing.
The stairs leading up to some rooms are probably not conductive to walking drunk, or with heavy luggage. Sometimes the wi-fi connection was shaky, perhaps also due to being on top of the world.
The room was quite small which wasn't really a problem for us, but
the low/sloping roof made moving around the space a bit awkward. The
bathroom had only a frosted glass door that didn't shut tightly,
which meant very limited privacy. Having a shower left the entire
bathroom floor wet.
- at least a standard breakfast could have been included to the room price.
- more cleaning would be welcome.
The walls are paper thin and the couple next door kept us awake just by talking.
After 9pm I wouldn't really go walking around the suburb saint denis.
Street noise could be quite loud at times, but if you're a heavy sleeper you would never notice it.
Our room was on level 4, there is no elevator and the stairs are narrow and steep, so not suitable for elderly or disabled people.
Paris is unreasonably expensive, which to some extent also applies
to this hotel. It's a good hotel, but no luxury and while well
connected, not quite in the centre. You pay the extra money for
being in Paris.
If you want to stay in a comfortable, high end hotel choose another one,it is a modest hotel with limited facilities.
We went in the highest summer, and theres no air con or fan in the
bedrooms. Other huge problem is the loud noise from the street. Really
really forget about staying there if you are not a heavy sleeper!! We
stayed in the room number 5.
- refrigerator would be an advantage.
Hard to find on the street, walked past twice.
Our window was facing very noisy street. There were no night curtains and no air conditioning. The door to the bathroom&toilet was semi-transparent glass (and not sound-proof).
From the outside it looked shabby (which it totally wasn't).
Very noisy street, so cannot sleep with windows open. The double glazing prevents all the noise however.
A little fridge would have been nice, to put in a bottle of water or left over food.
My room is facing the street, so it's a bit noisy if you open the window.
Not glamorous but suitable for all your needs.
traffic noise when you open window.
No elevator. But having said that, staff carried up the suitcase for me on arrival.
noisy street
no elevator, steep & narrow stairs.
The internet sometimes didn't work very well sometimes.
Room very small.
Small bed, just 1.20.
The reception area is rather dilapidated.
- no phone in the rooms so wake-up knock instead of call
- no desk lamp
- a bit expensive for area and what it is.
We are mature and we need elevator to get to our floor.
No lifts! we had heavy luggage. but the staff was very friendly and helped us to bring our stuff up the stairs.
family run business, only one young man can speak English.
Being on 5th floor.
Nackerd after walking up all the steps!.
no elevator.
No breakfast available but plenty of cafes nearby.
