  Le Vauban is excellently placed in the heart of montreuil sur mer! Right on the square. Plenty of parking right outside, view of the square from our room. The rooms were perfect for my husband, myself and five year old daughter. My parents stayed in another room and loved it. My dad is six foot four (hard to find comfy bed)and said beds were comfy... was die leute sagen » , had no problem with the shower which was tiny and enjoyed the breakfast and dinner he ate at the hotel. The lady who jointly runs it is very helpful - The owners and staff in this two-star establishment were very friendly and extremely helpful. The restaurant offers a fresh, home made menu and does it very well. The sheltered terrace is a nice place to have a drink or eat in the sun. The optional breakfast is also excellent and offers more than most. Very good value for money overall. Nicely situated on the square with easy access. Madame speaks very good English which is a bonus for we who have not mastered French!
