  This was a little gem. Perfectly situated close to the port of Caen yet on the coast and in a little village. This was one of the lovely two star hotels you get in France but with the plus of having been updated very tastefully. It was comfortable, friendly and spotlessly clean. - Excellent location for visiting all Beaches and museums very good ... was die leute sagen » breakfast really helpful staff and very clean. Lots of good information on sights. Value for money. Free Parking.

  Blick direkt aufs Meer Lage direkt am Strand - This family-run hotel is very conveniently located to visit all of the interesting and beautiful sites on the Normandy Coast. Luc-sur-Mer, itself, has beautiful architecture, restaurants, shops and a municipal park...with a huge whale skeleton very nicely displayed behind the Mairie. There is a bus... was die leute sagen » stop c. 200 metres from the hotel, with which you can travel West along the coast and into the city of Caen (with all of its historic and tourist attractions). The owners are very cheerful and hel - We loved the fact that we were right on the seafront without a road between us and the beach. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. It was also great to cycle from there. Would definitely stay there again.
