  L'Oree is a beautiful, modern b'n'b located in the countryside just outside Giverny. It is a 2 minute drive to Monet sites and 5 minutes to Vernon. M and M Werth are the owners; very accommodating. Breakfast excellent. Room was very modernly designed, spacious, and could accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Would definitely stay th - L'Oree de Giverny was a lovely B&B minutes from Monet's gardens in Giverny. Located by fast flowing river, we enjoyed the quiet and privacy. The village of Giverny can be very crowded during the day. We had a large bedroom and bath, with all the comforts of home. Our hosts the Werth's were very helpful and gave us good advice as to visiting the area and fixed a decious breakfast that featued local food. Visiting gardens was very special and our stay at L'Oree de Givery equally special!

  What a wonderful surprise to walk into the garden of La Mona Guest House, where we instantly felt at home. Blanca was truly a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day and warmed our hearts from the start. Our beautiful suite provided peace and comfort for our weary bodies, as we were nurtured every morning with delicious, healthy breakfast feasts. It was a privileg - Close to Giverny for Monet Garden visit. Very clean spacious room with nice garden. Owners were on holiday but Jacqui looked after us very well.We met her at the gate at 5pm punctually. Home made jams for bread and croissants for breakfast plus fruit and yoghurt. A lovely little complex with bikes available.

  The house was built in the 15th century so is perfectly rustic. We had the two attic rooms (each had a shower in the room and we shared a hall toilet). The rooms were charmingly decorated to match the historic age of the house. Moderate size rooms - with room to easily walk around beds and place luggage. The breakfast the next morning was tea, coffee, juice, fresh bread with butter and jams - at whatever time we desire - the location was good, Giverny is a nice little village that comes alive during the day when the day visitors arrive but in the evening a relaxing place. To get from Vernon train station with luggage take the taxi, which can require a wait as there are only about 3 that we saw. the cafe over the road will order one for you as the taxi stand seemed always empty. your host Eric very accomadating. nice old farm house type rooms, nice for 1 or 2 days.
