There are ATMs, very good shopping (especially men's clothing on Rue Turenne near the hotel), great restaurants (try Beaucoup on Rue Froissart around the corner), and necessary things like a pharmacy, market, laundry all within half a block. Also we had left a small item behind and they were happy to post it back to us. The rooms are small, but it was enough for our little 18 month old to roam around and stretch his legs.
