The hotel is like 50m from a local bus station and 20-30 min walk to the
entrance of the Plitvice Lake National Park, making it fairly well
located for its price. The young girl who works there (no, though the 3
women there may look like 3 generations of a family to some, but
they're not) is such a dear, she would go out of her way to
accommodate guests' need and tried to chat up with all guests using

First and foremost the hosts were absolutely lovely. They were extremely welcoming, helpful and really went out of their way to make us comfortable but at the same time not imposing. Perfect English and funny.
The apartment looked better than the pictures, the sea view was stunning from the balcony for watching the sunset. We even spotting dolphins from the coastline.

We had a great host with excellent English and were given a complimentary drink on arrival. He gave us recommendations of where to eat out and shared the homemade brandy too! Room was very clean and nicely furnished in a beautiful setting.
Would definitely return ourselves if we visit plitvice again and would highly recommend to others.

My sister and I were in Holiday and really enjoyed our stay here. Note- I believe this is the newer/smaller version of the Pansion house that the original owners father built and runs. It is a little farther outside of the park (3k?) but made no difference with a car. The proprietor was very attentive and the rooms were well kept and clean. Added bonus: the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!

We really liked our stay at the Pension, even if it was only 3 days. The location was really close ( around 10 minutes walking ) to one of the entrances of the Plitvice lakes. This is a great place and we have enjoyed our two-day stay immensely. The apartment is comfortable, spacious, tastefully designed and really clean. It is very conveniently located and easy to find. The landlady is quite helpful - always available, but unobtrusive. She was a great help with our sometimes-not-that-interested- in-hiking-around-the-lakes kids, and fun to talk to in the evenings. Great breakfast is served in a delightful garden, and there is a good restaurant just minutes away.

I really couldn't imagine staying anywhere else, for a visit to this part of Croatia. I hope they keep up with the positive trend and once it is all finished, it will be even more special. The rooms are very charming and cosy and the decor is excellent. The bathrooms are very nice and modern but still very rustic.

Newly opened Lodge with a lovely family atmosphere. The owner Ivan and his mother are doing everything as they find their feet after just opening - give them a bit of time to get over little teething problems and I'm sure that they will have a thriving business. The location is PERFECT and a stones throw from the lakes. They don't serve food, but dinner was only a short walk to another lodge for a beautiful meal. I took a trip to reconnect with some friends and I must say that we picked the right place for it. The town was small but very beautiful, it had many surrounding villages that were filled with interesting touristic attractions. The hotel was very well placed, just off the main road in Otočac. We were visiting Plitvice National Park and this is about a 45 minutes drive from there. The hotel was very clean, and had private parking for guests. The staff were great, helping with any questions and giving us directions for any travel we were doing.
