With a group of five friends we stayed a week at the hostel at the end of July and we felt very much at home. We experienced a warm welcome and family-like treatment. Hristo and his staff are very friendly and helpful. They take excellent care of their guests. The guest house is clean, tidy, full of character and perfectly located in the middle of the Old Town. Sehr schöne großzügige Suiten. - We booked a regular double room for 6 nights, but got an upgrade for the suite instead (no extra charge!) due to room planning issues. The suite was lovely. Breakfast was very nice, enough choice and sometimes alternating extras. Coffee seemed freshly ground. Breakfast could - Great location in the old town of Plovdiv. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Clean large room ( room with 8 windows!), large bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic with choice of cooked, fruit or selection of cold meats, cheeses, yogurts etc.

  We were surprised to find Boris Palace immidiately when we entered Plovdiv. Boris, the owner of the hotel, Cristina and the rest stuff helped us with our luggage and parked our car in their private parking. Our room was in the first floor, it was nice, clean, spacious and cosy. Every night we were asked the time we would like to have our breakfast ... was die leute sagen » the next morning. Our breakfast was always served in the table making us feeling unique as we didn't have to take a plate and wonder around the restau - excellent location, easy access both to main city sights and shopping, unique design, very friendly owner, wonderful city panorama from the terrace; just a couple of recommendations for future visitors. Make sure you've got comfortable shoes as the pavement of Saborna street is antique and not suitable for high heels; also there is a comfortable parking area just 100 meters from the hotel and it makes sense to use it instead of parking in the nearest narrow side-streets
