  As soon as Carolyn (host) opened the door we were rapped in Jadan Cottages, they are a home away from home and then some. The decor, design and facilities are tremendous and very appropriate. The two cottages (actually a side by side duplex) are situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood but close to downtown and to a shopping mall. The cottage we occupied was very well equipped with everything we needed, it was very spacious and was scrupulously clean. Moreover, the room was fantastic, equipped - We loved the friendly attitude of the hosts, the fact that on arrival in the evening after work we were made to relax with Port, Sherry and home-cooked little cookies/cakes , as well as excellent accommodation. We were only sorry that we were only able to stay one night before going on to our pre-arranged stay in Canberra.

  The scenery was fantastic, it is an idyllic spot in Hunter, walking distance to a couple of wineries and we spotted kangaroos on our stroll! The hosts were very helpful and more than willing to pass on information about the locality. The dog on the property was beautiful and very friendly. The breakfast provided was very generous.
