As soon as Carolyn (host) opened the door we were rapped in Jadan Cottages, they are a home away from home and then some. The decor, design and facilities are tremendous and very appropriate. Everything ever needed was supplied; even a garage at the rear that comfortably fitted our dual cab ute. Included in the kitchen were bread, butter and other items for a hearty continental breakfast. Jadan Cottages is a beautifully restored pair of residences in Broken Hill. The two cottages (actually a side by side duplex) are situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood but close to downtown and to a shopping mall. The cottage we occupied was very well equipped with everything we needed, it was very spacious and was scrupulously clean. Our hostess, Caroline, had laid in basic supplies such as milk, cereal, treats; jam, butter, vegemite, juice and bread. The two cottages have their ow.
I would strongly recommend you stay at Jadan Cottage. It was a home away from home. Spacious cottage with comfortable beds, great BBQ area under cover, well equipped kitchen, WiFi for my daughter was a hit, great bathroom and shower. Full laundry facilities. Carolyn was very helpful and the cottage was spotless. Carolyn even arranged fresh breakfast items for us upon arrival. I will recommend Jaden to anyone I know visiting Broken Hill.
The cottage was awesome. Carol and Gavin met us and showed us around.
Very generous supply and breakfast basket. House was clean and had
everything to make meals including a new grill. Large grocery and
butcher 5 min walk. Quiet. This is an ideal place to unwind, slow down,
and catch up while being close to all Broken Hill and Silverton
attractions. If you are from outside au and want to see live Kangaroos
go to golf course at dusk. :-).
We liked everything about it. Attention to detail. Everthing you could want and more. A generous basket of goodies and more in the refrigerator. The goodies lasted us the four days we were there. We have stayed in apartments in several countries of the world but Jaden Cottage beat them all.

The cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed, could easily accommodate upto 6 adults and breakfast supplies for the first morning was excellent. Not far from shopping centre to gather supplies if needed. The outside entertainment area was lovely.
Proprietor who went out of her way to help us... guiding us to the accommodation when we phoned for help.. giving us a very welcome feeling. The house, which when viewed on the Internet, does not have an upmarket look, is really excellent.
Accommodation first rate especially after the Cobar disaster. These cottages provide good space for a family or group both indoors and outdoors and is near the local Shopping Centre.

It was extremely clean on arrival and everything was there that I needed. There was space in the garage for my large car and all my camping equipment. I would definitely stay there again if returning to Broken Hill.
Sensational!! The cottage was clean and spacious - even had our own garage. Outdoor area for BBQ's, kitchen was well equipped and the extras were so appreciated. Nothing was left out - absolutely fantastic.
We enjoyed the comfort and facilities offered in this cottage. The breakfast extras were appreciated and made it convenient for a short stay. Kids enjoyed the DVD's.

There was nothing we didn't like. However, prospective tenants should be aware that they will need to phone Caroline to get the key when they arrive.
Location is safe, but a little run down area took us from the us by a
little surprise. It is not a place that allows you to Walk to Pubs
restaurants shopping etc.
