Palermo is a good 30 mins by taxi away - I liked very much the hostel, the rooms are clean, people are very nice, the recepcionists are adorable. I'm brazilian and stayed for four days, went alone to buenos aires and was amazing. The hostel is close to other neighborhoods known like palermo retiro and recoleta. I recommend!

  We stayed in Hotelmo which is next store to the Mantengase hotel, they offered private rooms with private bathroom. Everything was fantastic from the location, service, the owners of the complex are very very accommodating.   The location was very good. The hotel was perfectly clean and the room very spacious and with news furniture. It was nice to eat the breakfast with the roof-top view. - The cleanliness and the plumbing! Most places in Buenos Aires have plumbing problems. This one had excellent showers. Very functional apartment.
