The best old things have been preserved. Old-fashioned courtesy in an historic building run by an inn-keeper full of local knowledge who loves his vocation (Mac). Friendly staff, led by a smart and charming young woman from Nepal of all places! And the food is good. The house is full of character which has been maintained while installing modern conveniences. The location for touring Cape Cod is excellent, on one of the principal roads but with the least traffic, and for those who stay a few da.
所有评语 » The backyard and frontyard are gorgeous. We were able to sit outside and relax often. The location is also pretty good. Less than a minute drive to a bank and ice creamery. There is also a cute convience store and alcohol store less than a walk away. The owner is also great. He was able to give us directions to the best route up the cape. We basically got to see everything we needed to see because of his directions! No gps needed. The breakfast is also delicious. We did not want to leave this p. Very quaint. We stayed overnight because we attended a wedding down the street. We didn't see much of the area. The Inn was perfect for us. Would recommend it. The Incredible hospitality and friendliness with the entire staff. You felt at home from the first moment on. zit was great!!. The proprietor was very knowledgeable of the area, and was very willing to offer suggestions and directions. The proprietor was very helpful and gave us much useful information about Cape Cod and also Boston. Very pleasant, helpful staff. We should have tried the restaurant for dinner - maybe next time!. Location Hospitality Helpfulness. This old colonial house is quite a place ! the garden, parking, open areas are quite enormous. The owner, Mac, is very helpful, knows very well the area and is ready to pass all information to the guests. He is constantly in command of the place. It is quaint and simple, Mac is very helpful. Nothing. The photos on letsbookhotel.com were very nice and gave you the impression of a quaint, beautiful, Victorian B&B. The owner was proud of his place. (Odd). Not sure why so many people have written that the place is outdated.... thats the idea! The house is full of history and has a story behind it (mightwant to google). The house is adorable for young couples who have never visited the cape!. The outside lighting was lacking; almost dangerous, and the place was a bit run down. The hours were early, for instance, pool closed at 8 pm, and for the jacuzzi, you needed to let the management know in advance if you wanted to use it. Also, because we booked through letsbookhotel.com, we did not get dinner included, which we would have if we booked directly. It is an older property and very unique, but, in places, the decor could do with refreshing. Window A/C - difficult keeping room comfortable in 90-degree heat. Needs updating from a decorative view, such as color-coordination in the rooms. The room was quite on the small side and the whole place could do with some renovation. You get the impression that, apart from the owner, no other staff knows exactly what to do and how to do it, unless instructed by him. It is old and starting to get rune down. It may be clean but worn carpets don t look clean. State of the place. I believe I paid more than expected. I also thought I had prepaid for the room through letsbookhotel.com, but didn't care to argue with Malcolm, who was a charming host. The place was very run down, musty smelling, and filthy. We were afraid to sleep between the sheets. The bathroom ceiling looked as though it were about to collapse from old water damage. The window sils were filthy and I found several dead bugs around them. The scatter rugs looked as though they had not been vacuumed in quite a while. The exterior of the Inn was very rundown in need of much renovation. navy blue sheets questionable cleanliness of bed, bedding found Dorito chip under the bed Horrible, old uncomfortable mattress would keep me from this property in the future very poor to no 4G, 3G or internet service on the property. Very much in disrepair. Mold in bathroom, mold on some ceilings, heavy, clawing smell of plugin deodorizers, carpets and rugs layered over every floor. Pool was in a grotto-like basement with drips from the ceiling and mold on the ceiling. letsbookhotel.com makes it out to be better than it is. Our room needed a good clean and redecorating.
