The Williams Inn is an older hotel with an old hotel feel with a heated indoor pool and spa. It is an ideal hotel for my sister and me who like a hotel with character. My impression is that they cater to local (Berkshire area) people and their families who need a hotel nearby. During the 4th of July week, they did have limited occupancy. So my sister and I had the dinning room for dinner and breakfast. It was so great for us. The Berkshires have beautiful scenery and you feel like a quaint f.
所有评语 » I appreciate the location (right on campus and within easy walking distance of the main shopping street in Williamstown) as well as the cleanliness. I have not been so lucky in other places in Williamstown! The remote control on the tv in my room was not working very well. I mentioned it to the reception in the morning. When I came back to my room 3-4 hours later, it was fixed. That's great service!. We love the Williamstown area. There are many excellent art museums is a short radius from the inn. The downtown area is quaint with great shops. The Clark Art Institute is an especially big draw for us. Excellent breakfast in the Williams Inn dining room! The staff was very helpful and considerate. There were a number of great restuarants in the area and easily accessible. The location, right across the street from my son's dorm (I was helping me move out at the end of the semester) and within walking distance of the main shopping street in town, was wonderful. But location itself is not enough! What I also greatly appreciated was my room, very clean, spacious. and well-stocked. The location is excellent. The staff is overly friendly and helpful. The restaurant is the best in the area. The tavern is very family-friendly and the food in the tavern is great. Proximity to Williams College. Friendly staff who provided a map of the college and directed us to the admissions office for our tour. Rooms reasonably comfortable and clean. Lovely, old fashioned hotel. Helpful staff. Pleasant old New England style room, and decor throughout the hotel. Great dining room and excellent food at supper and breakfast. loved the pool and hot tub and the people I met there. Front desk was very nice. We arrived during photo shoots for a prom, but the event turned out to be very quiet. Relaxing. Spacious room (we were upgraded to a larger room). Comfortable. Clean. It reminded me of the Benbow Inn on the other coast. Venerable institution; very near the campus of Williams College and the Williamstown Festival Theater. Large room, good shower, nice view of the mountains. Convenient to Williamstown theatre festival and shopping. Indoor swimming pool is a nice plus if traveling with kids. Front desk very helpful. Staff was very nice.Entertainers Jeanne and John in the bar Sat. night were great. Can't beat the location-Could walk to theatre. Our room was very good - large and recently decorated. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Cookies on departure were lovely. The staff were very helpful. I miss placed some rings, they found them and sent them to me. Very much appreciated. I liked it was so close to Williams College. It was very quiet and being off season the rates were reasonable. Nice quaint older hotel feel, nice staff and great location. Nice music in bar/lounge off the lobby. Everything. I have stayed before and know the people, etc. The staff are helpful and very friendly. The food in the tavern and breakfast. Also, the gift shop was great with unique gifts. The innkeepers were outstanding -- friendly and helpful. The decor and quietness. Freindly desk staff. historic town. I don't have anything negative to say!. There was no particular problem. I stayed 2 nights, and can't think of anything negative to say. The hotel has old worn furniture. The breakfast was terrible -- burned scrambled eggs, inedible oatmeal, no whole grain or healthy pastries or breads, no yogurts. A Marriott Courtyard has a better breakfast, and you would definitely expect more from a country inn. The whole place has a rundown feeling to it -- not yet dirty or unpleasant, but definitely aging. The room was older than I expected from the exterior. More like my grandma's house than a hotel-but not really a negative; just a surprise. Room was cold when we arrived. Heat was from a blower which was noisy. Had to turn it way up before bedtime so it wouldn't go on so much during the night. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. A VERY long walk to the nicest rooms. The WiFi in the room is sporadic and weak _ hence annoying; difficult to get something to eat or drink after the theater,. The hotel could definitely use a face lift but otherwise it is fine. rooms not super fancy but clean and comfortable. Oh dear - it is such a pity that the breakfast lets them so badly down. We cannot imagine it would take much to correct this deficiency and make a good hotel very good. That if I want to stay at Williams Inn for my daughters graduation next May. I have to request in writing this June and will be notified if I am accepted etc. It sounds very cold and unfriendly the way it is being handled. I probably will stay elsewhere. Nothing really. Maybe a little pricey..okay. not having my birthday acknowledged..... even with a cupcake !!!!!!..... and our repeated pleasure in being back after 20 years !!!!. Updates need to be made to the rooms (décor); noise from other rooms' bathrooms (running water, talking, etc.) It was still comfortable and I would still come back!. Quaint, but mattress old and can feel springs; bath wall paper torn and a little bit of mold on bathroom tiles. Certainly not a 4 or 5 star hotel, but would recommend due to best location. Nothing. No complaints Would like a fridge but not essential. Heating unit very loud. Magnifying mirror in bath would be nice. No workout facilities. My room was very far from the elevator. Sort of run down. Could use a significant makeover. Poor lighting in my room. Ridiculously expensive, air conditioning unit was way to loud and caused 2 sleepless nights. When explained to the front desk, they said they knew nothing about it. Needs an upgrade. The pool really needed painting. Places in the room needed updates like the really old chairs. Heather sometime doesn't work. Crying baby next door during the night. Leaving and having to go back to work. No continental breakfast. No Exercise Facility No bar food service after 10pm. Very pricy. Nothing comes to mind. Age of the rooms. It would be nice to have breakfast included in a package. Eggs over easy were hard as rocks. Bacon also seriously overcooked. things getting old.
