The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The Jacuzzi area was very nice. It was very close to downtown. The room was quiet; noise of traffic going by did not bother us.

We enjoyed everything about the Downtowner. Excellent staff, friendly while professional. They did everything they could to meet our needs when a piece of luggage did not make it with us.
Location great, in walking distance to the shops and restaurants because it is right in town. Clean, comfort, quiet, great for our dog. Would stay there again.

Great budget Inn with an unbeatable location. Love that we can park the bikes right outside the door and walk anywhere in Whitefish.

Location.
The exterior carpets and steps were shabby and in need of re-doing. The carpet in the room was quite worn and had a huge stain on it, but appeared to be clean. The chairs were very worn. A smoker was in the room next to us, and was smoking outside his door with just his briefs on. Recommend refrigerator (there's lots of room to accommodate one!).
There was nothing to not like.
Get there by normal check in time to get a parking space in front of motel.
A bit rustic but the price reflects that. Pipes in rooms should be painted.

small rooms, high price, noise from main thoroughfare in town.
Room was shabby and floors were crooked, could trip. Shower had no map, could fall easily.
