The beaches are gorgeous, the ocean is warm and not too rough, ideal for seasoned swimmers. Dolphins swimming really close to the beach. Even though the hotels were all fully booked, it didn't feel crowed on the beach or the boardwalk as it is very spacious. The local bands entertainment at night, really good, every night is a party, and it's free. The balcony facing the beach is very nice, sun in the morning while we were at the beach and the room was being cleaned and then later around ea.
所有评语 » The staff were all very friendly and accomodating. From the front desk to housekeeping. Very professional. The facility was nice and clean. Housekeeping did a wonderful job of cleaning our room and restocking towels everyday. The breakfast which is included was very nice. The food was always restocked when it was out by the kitchen employees. There was something for everyone. Although I did wish there was fresh fruit. The views from the room were stellar. The location perfect. Our room didn't . Clean, nicely decorated hotel. Great views of the beach. Good location on the boardwalk with beautiful landscaping and easy access to beach, including for wheelchairs (we had great g-ma with us). Fantastic, full breakfast included with room. Comfortable and relaxing outdoor seating area. Hot tub in pool area. Rooms are roomy, comfortable bedding, air conditioning worked great, easily access to wifi, roomy bathroom, great showerhead and water pressure. Staff friendly. Parking access is also good. I liked everything except for the lack of parking and the fact that they won't give out but 1 parking pass per room. We were 2 families coming from different states so we had to drive seperate. That left me having to pay $60 to park somewhere 8 blocks away that offered over night parking! Atleast give 2 passes per room in situations like mine!. The hotel staff was nice, the room was spacious, and the included breakfast was good. Also, the balcony had a beautiful view of the ocean. The location, the breakfast, and the well kept facility and grounds. Housekeeping staff were very good and helpful. very pleased with clean room, all staff we friendly but professional, beautiful ocean view from room. The one bedroom suite was sufficient in size. The prices to rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach, it is so expensive that you hardly see anybody renting them ($40.00 for 2 chairs and 1 umbrella per day), I know we would have rented them if they were more reasonable. Not many good restaurants locally, expensive for what you get, but if you travel around 10 kms you get good food reasonably priced. It would be nice to have a bar on the premises to have a nightcap before going to bed. This obviously isn't a 5 star hotel so as long as you don't go there expecting 5 star quality you will be fine. The only improvement I would suggest is fresh fruit available at breakfast such as apples, oranges, clementines, bananas, cut up melons, strawberries etc. Inside pool is smaller than it looks online. The limited available parking spaces and the lack of parking permits. Only 1 per room allowed. It should be at least 2 in a situation like mine where two families travelled from different states hours apart to meet in va Beach. The 10th floor room we had was very warm. The staff was helpful, but the room was never as cold as we would have liked after being on the beach all day. I would stay in a lower floor. refused a late check out. Ripped me off re: quoted price vs actual price. Came for a wedding...just so happens it was the same time as the Neptune festival, so they charged me more......will not recommend to others because of this. And I do plan on returning to the city myself now that my nephew lives there. Out of season. Not much open or to do. The parking was limited and had to park far away due to small lot in front of the hotel. That there wasn't a dvd player. Parking was a little difficult. The price was too high!!!. The Staff durning the morning didn't seem to friendly, but she was alright. The cleaning staff could not understand English (or the pretended not to). We did not want an extensive cleaning every day but needed clean towels. On 2 days I had to go and get the towels off the cart myself and the beds weren't made on those days. When I come off the beach I want to shower (not towels). The pool was occupied by kids screaming and it was not a place I wanted to do laps or anything. Noisy air conditioning fan Extremely loud military fly overs. Stayed in a suite and there were many things broken - phone did not work, light bulbs that needed replacing, slow housekeeping services, rude housekeeper. We actually left and went to the Marriott which was a much nicer hotel. No microwave. Pool was only half full when we arrived. Beds were not comfy. The room layout was weird and not user freindly. Housekeeping was horrible! Mold growing everywhere and things left behind in the frig from last guest. Large stain on carpet and loud noise coming from ac intake vent. Kept me up all night!.
