  The furniture and decor has been upgraded since our last stay, and the rooms were very pleasant. However one of the beds in our two bed suite had a large "dip" in the center that we couldn't sleep comfortably in.........the other bed was comfortable. - The staff accelerated the check-in for us and we were able to rest after a long journey.   Room was modern, clean and relatively spacious with the handbasin outside the main bathroom (more convenient). Scenic view from the window and communal patio outside the room. Retaurant, small convience store and service station within walking distance. The view from our room was absolutely beautifully. Nice clean rooms even though they only had one cleaning girl. She worked her butt off and she was so friendly under very difficult circumstances.

  The facility was clean, the staffwas friendly. The lady at the front desk even loaned my wife a swimming suit to use as she had forgotten hers. Good job! - The hotel itself was very nice and clean. It was cold night and the lobby had a fake fire that was very cozy. Room was great.

  The Broken Spur is an excellent choice for staying overnight if passing through Torrey. The rooms are kept in excellent condition and have mini-frig and microwave. I have stayed their several times. Price is very competitive with any of the other chain or local motel. - We've stayed before w/different owners.
