Our view from the room was wonderful, we watched the sea otters play in the harbor between the docks. Beautiful snow covered mountains in the background. Window open to the east to watch the sunrise. We could walk to shop & eat, saving gas and getting a little exercise. The views are always great. If your from the Lower 48 this is not a 5 star hotel. If you want clean, dry, warm close to places to eat and the fishing harbor this is it. I stay here a few times a year and have always been comfy.
所有评语 » Location nearby harbour, nearby downtown, seward is just a small town, but this motel has the perfect location for your stay in seward but remember its just a motel ; for your breakfast there is a good bakery across the street. It was located across from the harbor in Seward, convenient to fjord boat trips. They own a restaurant which served an excellent quick breakfast the harbor view rooms had an excellent view of the mountains and the boats. The staff was efficient and friendly. They let us park our car at the motel past checking out time while we went on a glacier day cruise. They were expecting us, had our rooms ready, parking passes and keys. The staff was prompt and delt with a key issue in a fast and professional manner. I liked that there was a fridge in the room. The lobby was beautiful. Our overnight stay was very nice, thank you. We had a view of the harbor which gave us the opportunity to see the different ships coming in and out of the harbor, it was very easy to get around town and would highly recommend it to anyone!. Staff was very helpful. close to where our cruise ship disembarked and staff came to pick us up; secured our luggage until we could check in. Also found a lost item and kept it for us. Staff was very helpful with an issue with an intown shuttle service provider. Great location. Fun for kids to see the fish harvest at the end of the sport fishing day. The hotel was clean and the jacuzzi tub was enormous and lovely. Staff was helpful and knowledgable about the area. Nice room with good amenities, coffee maker, frig etc--and the harbor view with a nice view of the mountains. The location near the restaurants& Kenai fjord tours was perfect. They let us keep our car past checkout. The room was clean, and inexpensive. The first room was cold and the staff quickly moved us to a warm room. Rooms were clean, seemed to be recently updated. Good location near the boat harbor and restaurants. Location across from harbor was close to everything and had great views of the local street scene. The hotel was well located, clean and comfortable with and we had a great view. That is was close to all the restaurants on the wharf in Seward. Staff very friendly and helpful. thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The front desk lady gave us a corner room with more windows!. dog friendly-didn't have to stay in smoking rooms with them. The tourist shopping was good, the warf was interesting, the view was pretty, the resteraunts were good and bad depending on what you were looking for a plus was that they were within walking distance. Room was clean. Location was great for our trip needs as it was right across the street from restaurants and day cruise facility. Our room had a nice view of harbor. We had a great time in Seward. Sea life center was super, Kenai Fjords trip was excellent, Exit glacier was neat. Large room with air conditioning (rare in Alaska), comfortable bed, small frig, good TV. Some rooms have inside hallway access doors (good), some open air. Good gift shop!. Hotel was located very close to cruise lines. They stored our bags for free and also allowed us to park in the hotel area while we were out on cruise after checkout. The beds [two fulls] were hard as rocks and we both had a hard time sleeping. I was up every hour trying to get comfortable. The wind was really bad, with the weather the metal roof had ice falling and flying into the windows, the noise would wake you and you would worry about your vehicle being around the building. I have always been pleased with the Breeze. price. Fine for our short stay and the room keys were messed up and someone tried gaining access to our room after we had gone to bed. Coffee pot location by sink. Personal preference. Only thing. One of our two keys did not work. Not really a big deal. rooms and bathrooms were clean, but our room was outside entrance, and beds were 'so-so.' Motel appears to have a newer and nicer front and 'not as nice' back part. The lock on the room door could be a lot more reassuring, especially since I was traveling alone. We stayed in the old section and could hear people outside our door. Room was a little hot on the 3rd floor, air conditioner a little noisy. Given its size I was surprised there was no fitness room. The hotel also put an authorisation amount on my credit card which is still to be cleared even though I settled my bill in full almost three weeks ago. I am very unhappy about this. unusual smell in our building where you got on elevator. not bad just odd. No microwave. Nothing I can think of. Ice was not available on our floor. Tiny bathroom. Cable Box wasn't connected and lady from front desk had to come connect so could watch TV. Can't assume that everyone knows how to connect the cable box. coffee pot was terrible. A little bit expensive, but so was everywhere else. Lack of room darkening shades. Tv quality was very poor. Beds could have been more comfortable, blinds did not shut all the way. Showed we were checked out when we weren't, so staff tried to clean room twice while we were still there. Room wasn't ready at 3pm to check in. It wasnt the end of the world and they were really nice about it.... Elevator broken. No microwave. had not noticed we needed two rooms they were able to provide the other room but in a different building. older section of motel needs new mattresses. No breakfast. the lobby full of people waiting until 3pm cuz they wont let anyone (period!) until 3. The people above herding cattle until they mercifully left. the pillows. Breakfast - inadequate, never got coffee, billed twice (paid on site, and bill was put in room mailbox at reception, resulting in time-consuming problems during checkout). Faces back of bar, lots of bottle noise / emptying trash when bar closed, people talking in parking lot when bar closed. They did not have the reservation correct. Gave me a room with one double bed when I had three adults. Not good. WiFi did not work. Room had no air conditioning or fan, even in Alaska people may want to move the air in the room or cool it down. The carpet needed stretched it was a tripping hazard, for someone with ms it was a hassle to have to watch where I was walking and try to pick up my feet all the time. A phone book in the room would be nice also, we needed to make some calls to find a lost drivers license and luckily had a smart phone to access the numbers we needed. It was noisy, and beds were old and springy. Desk staff was certainly not overly motivated or responsive to any questions or issues on the WIFI. WIFI or internet was NEVER operational!. Water clog in bathroom. Water level raised and lowered depending on what guests in other rooms did. Obviously pretty poor drainage facility which the management was not able to rectify. None of us in our family bathed for the day, but the manager gave 25% off to be fair. But this is not something I was expecting given I was paying $170+tax/night. All a traveler requires is bed to sleep and good facility to bath and they failed on second part.
