location was great close to beach and downtown. could walk to both. Room overlooked the pool and beach. beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet. we were supposed to have a city view but don't think we would have liked those rooms so glad we were in the rooms we were in. Be sure to go to the Lark restaurant 3 blocks from the hotel!!!. The facility was amazing, and the view was spectacular. The hotel was perfectly set across from the ocean with lots of things to see. The food was great and the bar was a lot of fun. A perfect romantic getaway. We will definitely return in the summer.
所有评语 » Hotel was very clean and room was very nice. Location was amazing-close to beach, harbor, pier and close to state street shopping. You can walk anywhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santa Barbara. Perfect location for a first visit to Santa Barbara, harbor, beach, shops and restaurants, all within walking distance! Rooms are quite large and we had a wonderful view over sea and swimming pool. Beds very comfortable. We were upgraded as we were on our honeymoon to a lovely room with partial sea and grounds(pool) view. In a lovely location and ideal walking distance to the main street for restaurants etc. Great location that was easy to find. Right opposite the beach and pier plus round the corner from the Main Street with the many shops and restaurants. Sea views were great too!. Really helpful front desk and gave great restaurant recommendations. Very welcoming and the bed was so comfy. Spacious room, lovely pool and great location. We'll go back!. Loved decor. Liked Eladios and 10 percent discount. Loved it was overlooking the ocean. All amenities were good. Good sound proofing. We truly enjoyed our stay. Confortable, spacious and quiet room. Nice location for the beach and a short stroll into Santa Barbara Old Town with restaurants and plenty of shopping. Loved being so close to the beach and wharf. Close to State Street for shopping and restaurants. Convenient to walking/bike paths with coastal view. Great response from staff on any requests. Rooms were very quite despite being on the main street. Very clean, well kept rooms, nice design. We had a room with an ocean view. Very spacious and comfortable. Decent size of rooms and great location near the beach and State street. great location, nice rooms even if a litte old .... Location - across the street from the beach. We got really spacious rooms. Bell Boy Beau was excellent other members of staff should follow his example. A bit expensive I thought for a stay during the week but I guess you are paying for the location. And parking is not included. Rooms have great potential if they would be redecorated in more beachy colors, white, blue, yellow, floral and stripe pillows and hard wood floors! Would be a jewel!. $10 parking charge was excessive for hotel guests. Rooms need modernising and brightening up - mostly a kind of avocado colour. Not a lot!. Price of room was high. Shower too small. The ocean view rooms are situated directly above West Cabrillo Blvd, which separates the Harbor View Inn and beach. So, to take in the lovely view you do so with street and pedestrian traffic directly in front of and below you. I will go back, but will opt for a garden or other room off the blvd. Noise is not a large issue, it's just a little funky sitting on your deck on display, not worth the extra $$!. Lack of knowledge of the front desk staff when asked about local activities,etc. Nothing, other than weather. Not as warm as we wanted, but what the heck it's April. 4pm check in time a bit late, but we arrived early and were able to get into our room. Paying for parking. The restaurant associated with the hotel. Suite was above bell mans closet so lots of loud banging most of night, Also rooms didn't have drapes so street lights keep you up !. Limiting our stay to only 4 nights Would have loved another week, but had to return to work. It was very expensive for Graduation for those of us on a budget. Late maid service. I have always thought the Harbor View was a bit overpriced like many hotels in the Santa Barbara area. That we couldn't stay longer. Noise from street and sidewalk improvements but it is understandable. Need to be updated mostly bathroom, couldn't take happy hour outside on the terrace had to be inside at the bar. rooms were in good shape, but will need a facelift in a few years. coffee was far away over bridge..I know there was instant in the room, but would have been nice to have brewed at check in. The construction and street noise and the price for the type of hotel. For the price I would expect a better pool, bikes and coffee service. Elevator did not work from ground level. Was a little inconvenient bringing bags up stairs. The late check-in time (4 pm) is very inconvenient. And poor furniture upholstery and carpets show cheap renewal. Terrible customer service at front desk , ruin the entire stay for us. Staff was curt and not gracious or even very helpful. The Inn seems to need better maintenance care on the outside. As we were arriving we were disappointed because we thought it looked like an ordinary hotel but decided to stay anyway because it was late. The rooms were very nice, big and clean and this made up for the lack of maintenance on the outside. Although the complex appeared to be less than half full we were given the darkest room at the back of the building, when we enquired about changing rooms we were told more than once that we had paid for a 'standard' room. We offered to pay which we did but were given absolutely no customer service, front of house staff bordered on rude! They answered the phone with the single word 'what?' Unbelieveable!.
