The Regency was easy walking distance to everything I needed in SF: Union Square for my conference, the BART line to and from the airport for a reasonable price, and tourist attractions like the F line to Fisherman's Warf. The staff at the Regency was very helpful and friendly. Those who are looking for some place upscale should NOT stay here. It is an older building, but it has been repainted, has new carpeting, and is extremely clean. Our bathroom had new fixtures, and the furniture was clea.
所有评语 » The staff was amazing! I had a unique situation, with moving halfway across the country with my new job, allergies, & a car. They worked with me and accommodated all of my wishes. The eggs (whites), fruit, and waffles for breakfast were big plusses. Also, the Wi-Fi was secure and I needed that for work. I will probably stay there again during my transition. The neighborhood is great too!. A great place to stay. Very friendly staff! Go out of there way to make sure you are 100% satisfied. Very clean rooms, Great atmosphere! Close to all kinds of shopping and dining, China town, AT&T park, the famous Trolley, etc. A short fun ride on the trolley will get you to fisherman's wharf. An all around great place to stay!!!!! I will be back. Thanks sam! *****FIVE STAR*****. This is a great hotel in a classic San Francisco older building with lots of character. They had a really nice breakfast, nothing fancy but they had great coffee and typical bagel & cereal easy breakfast. I would defiantly stay there again. Especially because parking was about half of what the other hotels in the city offers & it was valet service. I loved everything about this hotel...staff, breakfast, the décor ( hotel built in 1906, many original details) exactly what I was looking for in a true San Francisco hotel. Location was great...I can't say enough about the staff, answer every question , helped in anyway they could. The Regency Inn exceeded my expectations. Courteous, helpful staff, immaculate room, comfy bedding, value added amenities like a breakfast bar and toiletries. We'd definitely return, and would recommend it to friends!. It was walking distance to everything I wanted to see. The staff gave me some great tips about the city that made my stay excellent. I will stay here again and again. very good hotel with clean rooms and pleasure stay and also a very friendly staff i like the breakfast a lot very neat n clean hotel will try again. The rooms were spacious and were very cool seeing that it was extremely hot outside. Vallet parking, friendly staff let us check in early. Excellent money value. Lose to most city locations. Good deal. Location. .The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel while older was clean and well taken care of. The breakfast was good. It isn't the Westin but it was a good value for the money. The buses stop right outside the hotel so for 2 bucks you can catch a ride to Fisherman's Wharf or downtown. This was one of the best price hotels we could find in San Francisco. It was cheap and cheerful by San Francisco standards. While located in a rough area it was only two blocks from the good area. Central location, value for money, very good neighbourhood, close to good restaurants and bars, lots to do in the area. Good housekeeping cleaning room and public areas. Location was good (close to Moscone Center). Continental breakfast. bed was comfortable. Great place to stay but you will fear for your life the second you step outside the Hotel. Cleanisess and friendly staff. Microwave and valet. breakfast was good. Friendly staff. Leaving. I was confused about the hotel and parking charges. I didn't need my car for two weeks. However, when I needed my car upon check out, it was there in pristine condition and the staff helped me with my bags.I truely can't think of one negative thing to say. My only downfall was because this was an older building the room didn't have any kind of fan or ac in the room, but it being San Francisco it's cooler outside so you could open the windows but be prepared to deal with all the city sounds. Nothing, the street people are colorful but I never felt threaten.... if you want cookie-cutter experience this is not the place for you. An older, small elevator made hauling luggage and 2 kids to our room a challenge, but at least it wasn't stairs only!. the minute you go up the stairs you get hit with this pungent odor that was not very nice and it looked as if there were people living on the first floor!. Homeless people. As for many old hotels in SF, there was not enough hot water in the morning. It took them a while to get my heat working. The neighbourhood is close to Union Square but full of homeless... The location was the only downfall. Being an older hotel, there is no soundproofing and it was noisy all night long. While I would recommend the hotel I wouldn't recommend this area for women or children. Wifi signal didnt reach inside the room, we had to stand in the doorway to get a signal. Staff aware and shrugged shoulders. Too much road noise as nil sound proofing. Building vibrated when certain vehicles passed. In addition to normal pillows, there were also comfort pillows with covers that didnt look too hygienic. Toilet a bit cramped. Taps very old and not ver hygienic. The hotel is old and if your getting a cheap rate is value otherwise not worth it. Location was bad (horrible neighborhood). Old elevator. Not enought outlets. Expensive. location. Its not at all value for money. They charge such a huge amount and their is no AC/Fan and not even option to make coffee. They have cockroach coming out of Coffee machine. We booked from letsbookhotel.com so we got a deceptive looks. The room is too small hardly space to walk. Could hear all the noise frm outside. Room was very cold. Unsafe location - could not get money back even though we checked out for most of the days we were scheduled to be at the hotel. There was a photo on the web site that led one to believe that there would be 2 queen beds. There were not. The were no forks or spoons or drink -ing utensils. The blinds were broken. We did not receive a receipt. decor in rooms and furniture outdated location was very bad hotel is TIRED!!!!!!!!. Room did not resemble photos online. Dirty room, bad smell, expensive. The location was awful. I felt very unsafe. Screaming and sirens outside all night. No heat in the room. Absolutely terrible.
