Friendly and efficient staff, quick check-in (and a couple of hours earlier than scheduled time), nice breakfast, quiet and comfortable room, nice toiletery products in the bathroom, great proximity to Union Square and public transport, great value for money. I would stay at this hotel again and will certainly highly recommend it to my family and friends. I also really liked the many tributes in the hallways to US servicemen.
所有评语 » Good and convenient location, comfortable, clean and nice room. We asked a quiet room and received such. Friendly staff ready to help. Nice breakfast, beautiful view from the restaraunt. Very interesting decoration and interieur, has a real feeling of history. Beautifully decorated. A good moderate price. This is a hotel with real character and focuses on its links with the past heroes of the armed services. Every floor has some link and it is really moving to wander and read about these men and women, most of whom fell in conflicts around the world. Free cocktail for 2 hours every night was a real bonus. Everything - staff were great , restaurant food and views were exceptional, happy hour free drinks amazing . Free breakfast was first rate. Room clean and comfortable , location convenient for everything but just a shirt walk from the crazy folks. Hotel DOES NOT inflate prices like others in San Fran. (ie for internet use and parking) The complimentary breakfast is sooooo good and the waiters are very attentive, polite and friendly in a professional manner. Your hotel was very friendly. I would like to especially speak about a waiter named Adam. He was the best. Very friendly and service was the best we have every received. Your concierge was also very helpful. The hotel was fantastic, we loved our stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and it was ideally located just one block from Union Square. Definite recommendation any time. Wonderful place with old elegance. Go up to the 12th floor in the evening and look out over the city, get a glass of wine at the piano bar. Nothing. nothing. We did not have any bad experiences and were totally happy with the Marine Memorial Hotel. Bathrooms could use some upgrading. They do seem to start cleaning the rooms very early, we had a knock on the door at 7.30am!. Our two-queen room was spacious, but the bathroom was small with very little counter space - the only negative in an otherwise very fine stay. The room was tiny and so was the bathroom. You could barely walk around the bed and my husband and I are small people. The bed was atrocious. Does the hotel every change the mattresses. Ours sagged--had no support-- and as I mentioned we are small people. Get new mattresses!. not as clean as I would like. several VERY dusty areas made me nervous on overall cleanliness. Bathroom lacked counter space so hard to get ready. Nothing really. Nothing. I would say that breakfast can be easly improved. Although it is a buffet with fair number of options, the quality was average. Service during breakfast was also a bit worse than at the front desk were the staff was extremely nice and helpful. a little cheaper we could have stayed longer. and parking was a little pricey. I'm a stickler for clean bathrooms, and there was dust on some pretty obvious things in the bathroom that I could see. I have no complaints. Maybe it needs a more modern, fresh touch!. A lot of road noise from traffic, people and trucks. Beds a bit too soft, especially the not too comfortable pillows. Computer Printer didn't work when we tried printing our boarding passes. Had to go down to the front office to print. There wasn't a phone in the room with the computer to call for help. The view of the room. When calling, I'm put on hold for quite a while. Slow elevators, room key didn't work first time. Room was average size, but big enough. Rooms somewhat dated. I asked for a triple room with 2 queens beds. The beds weren't queen size, but smaller, and it was very uncomfortable to share. had no dislikes. Room hadn't been cleaned on our first night and beds were hard, though some may like that. A bit too costly for its quality but comparable to other options in the area. Tiny bathroom, very expensive (queen room (1 bed) = 1200$ for 4 nights on bed and breakfast basis). I unfortunately forgot my designer sunglasses in the room upon checkout and they simply vanished. Pity. Longish wait for elevator. nothing. Street noise. Nothing.
