I liked that it was walking distance to the historic old town. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast included waffles, boiled eggs, variety of cereals, hot cooked oatmeal (not the packaged stuff), fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries and toast. The rooms come with DVD players and they offer a wide selection of movies free of charge. There is also local transit (bus) station very close to the hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel and are the rooms are super comfortable and
spacious. The location is excellent (right next to the baseball field)

Beach Haven Inn though an older facility is basic, clean, comfortable and economic accomodation within steps of the Pacific Beach boardwalk, but at the quieter north end of Crystal Pier. For the amount we paid we were very pleased. Walking distance to the
beach and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable! When I read the
description of the room it didn't say there was a fridge, microwave
or coffee maker...when we walked in the room there was a full kitchen!
The staff was always walking around and cleaning up even late at night.
One staff member saw us up late and alerted us he had a parking spot
open up front so we got to move our car closer.
