  This was by far the best hotel we have found in San Diego. Luxury for a very reasonable price! Downstairs, we chose to eat at t - Everything! I was blown away with the beauty of the lobby! The staff was wonderful, our room was fantastic, (corner king), the food was good (pulled pork was best I've had in ages!), and the views were gorgeous. I loved how close it was to so many areas of SD. The pool area (with the firepits at night!) looked wonderful, but it was so windy so we didn't stay. I also loved the old pictures throughout the hotel. If you are from SD it was particularly super to see them.

  The room we were given was 301 which is on the corner of the building so we got two windows to see the beach! We had booked an ocean view room and the view from our balcony was of Scripps park, a cave, the beach and all the silly sea lions and pelicans. The staff here is amazing...we were driving around San Diego and not familiar with the area and they were always happy - The location couldn't have been better; I liked that they had a ready supply of fresh coffee in the lobby and that they had bathrooms on a couple of floors so we didn't have to go all the way back to the room if we were already out; the balcony and view were all they promised and the beds were comfortable and clean. They held our bags for us before and after check out and that is big plus for us. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay there again soon and probably for years to come.

  Very friendly service; well laid and comfortable rooms Importantly, for those who like to wander; very close to public transport.   My husband and I were celebrating our silver wedding and booked 3 nights at the hotel,we loved every minute of our stay. The hotel was amazing,the location was fabulous and we just loved to watch the sunset on the beach.   Best value!!!! I loved having the restaurant on the same floor as our room. We visited happy hour and drank their signature cocktails for only $5 each!
