  I met a friend for a week away and we both loved the hotel and its staff. We especially liked the shuttle service for airport and local transport to dining spots and the access to down town and the area via the highways that were very close.   Nice historic hotel with a great location, next to imax, around the corner from the Alamo and 1-2 block walk to the lively area on the Riverwalk. Great base for walking to most downtown spots. Quick trolley ride to the Market Square. Clean and simple rooms were just what we needed.
