The marriot was in an exceptional location for shopping and sights. The sole purpose of going was these 2 things so it was perfect for our needs. Situated right on riverwalks door and part of the rivercentre what more could you need. This hotel is also just a 10 minute walk to the alamo where you can see part of USAs history. The San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter is very convenient to all downtown San Antonio attractions. To go to the Riverwalk you just walk out of the hotel and you are there. Underground hotel parking was so convenient. The staff was courteous and the room was very nice.
所有评语 » The location was perfect, I drop my vehicle off with the valet and never needed it till we checked out. By all means get the 36th floor or higher, the view of San Antonio is amazing both day and night. Having a mall connected to the hotel is pure genius. Very conveniently located. Easy access to Riverwalk, shopping, food. Clean hotel, great service. Especially the concierge, who got us around all the road blocks on Saturday evening so we could get our son back to Lackland AFB on time!. Hotel was nice and clean. nice views of downtown and alamodome. hotel was 5-10 minute walk to riverwalk. walked through mall to get to alamo. staff was very friendly. concierge could lead you to anywhere if you asked. Loved everything the attention the cleanliness the view was the best at night I could see the whole city and the staff was very helpfull and friendly I will not stay at another hotel by this one from now on. It's next to the Mall, It's on the Riverwalk and there are some restaurants and entertainment on the Riverwalk area. Centrally located to most of the sites to see that are walking distance. The rooms was really clean love the view.Me and my husband was on the 32nd floor you can see the riverwalk and the rive boat's from the 32nd floor...We had a room on the corner .. I enjoyed how EVERYTHING we wanted to do was within walking distance. I have a very bad back and it was nice that the hotel was very close to go relax between things we did. -View -Location -Room in general! Doorbell, kitchen with granite counter tops, living room, bedroom, large full bathroom. It seriously was a stylish luxury studio apartment. The location related to the river walk, shopping and restaurants; the room was great, the parking was better than I thought it would be but the cost was a surprise. Had a great time with the family. Great location with plenty within walking distance. Everything from casual to upscale. Loved it. Will visit again!. My only complaint is that I felt we paid to much for the room, $550.00 for 2 nights is quite a bit of money..:( Thank you Michelle McDonald. Thought wifi should have been available and free in the room as lobby was overcrowded 2 of the 3 days we were there. The hotel staff was wonderful. They were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was great. Room accomodations, easy access to Riverwalk, Mall, shops, on site laundry, and close to city attractions. The Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was exceptional. The amount of electrical plugs was amazing. We enjoyed the trip but the stay. It was close to bus stop, Megabus. 1. The river boat ride. 2. For the price rate of the room, the beds could have been on a higher level of comfort. Having a $3.50 water charged to your room if you opened it is rather silly. You would think if it was a 4 star hotel at least water would be free. Unaware that a major concert was taking place in the city that weekend. We had our son's graduation from USAF BMT and he had to be back by 8pm - all the roads around the hotel were blocked off. Parking garage was small and hard to manuver a large vehicle around. parking spaces were small and limited. no fridge in the rooms. no fan in the restrooms. this place is busy so the elevators could take a while to get to you. hotel is pretty expensive, but I think they all are in this area. -Wifi not free -They made a mistake with the reservation, but they fixed it by giving us a luxury room for only 20 dollars more. The best room I had ever stayed in. Period. It was pretty crowded when we were there, a teacher's convention was at the same time. Wish we could have stayed longer. The price:(. Lobby was too busy and too noisy during a convention. There was a young democrats of America convention at the hotel this weekend. They were rude loud and many were overly intoxicated. When we left for the morning there were trash cans with vomit in the hall. Hotel should employ security during these events to deal with these kind of people. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms for kids drinks and snacks. nothing I didn't like. the view....... room was very small for the price .. Although completely sober, in a rush to meet up with friends I parked the car in the marriott riverwalk hotel parking lot. Searched the parking garage and all adjancient lots including the riverview plaza next door or whatever it was called. 4 hours later calling the police aomeone finally told me about r ghost e marriott riverwalk. 1 block over. Too many similiar names. Bussies got a good laugh about it. But stressful none the less. Almost missed the event we went for. While the restaurant and wait staff were great, some of the bartenders were not very attentive and basically rude. Fees for wi-fi use; for the price, the wi-fi should have been included. The parking fees were high. Check-in staff a bit dismissive when 3rd-party reservation service was used and there was an issue with the rate. No coffee maker. No refrigerator. Either no exhaust fan in the bathroom or it was broken. The cost was too much to not have those above. I did not like having to pay for parking every night. I also did not like the idea of not having free internet and breakfast. time of vacation, was very crowded all along the riverwalk, people put trash into river, our hotel was spotless and vey clean with friendly staff. Having to leave hotel and go back to work!. N/A. Two people traveling together really need a second mirror. While one is using the sink mirror, the other could use the one in the main room. The one in the closet is too close too the sink mirror to make it usable for a second person. No breakfast free No wireless network for free. 1. Just getting there with all the construction. If your staying at a hotel and you decide not to valet you shouldn't have to pay 25.00 dollars extra for parking. Paying for parking was ridiculous. I was dissappointed that the hot tub that was advertised was filled in and there was a ping pong table in its place. Loved everything. Car parking is very expensive. Most hotels offer free breakfast. This hotel does not even have free coffee in the lobby. There was Starbucks whose staff were rude & seemed prejudiced. They helped the white people first & did not seem interested in what we tried to order. that parking is not included in the price, 250/night is pricey so at least include the parking, 25/day adds up. wish there was a food venue open all night inside the hotel, just sandwiches, drinks, something easy so we don't have to go out after a busy day. Tiny bathrooms in a king room. no comments since we liked everything. no complains. Everything and everyone was perfect!!. Lousy tv, ugly bed strapped to the wall, having to pay $40/night for using a debit card, cleaning staff knocking on our door at 7:45-8:00 each morning, the staff's solutions to our concerns was to offer us breakfast. Room was sub-par. Nothing to say. Hotel restaurant was way overpriced. Never saw anyone eat there.
