The room and the area were very nice. The staff was very helpful in getting us setup in our room and provided us with discounts on lift tickets and ski equipment rentals. We often saw deer wondering around in the area which was very nice. Located within walking distance of several ski shops, about five minutes from the turnoff for Ski Apache and about five minutes from the Ruidoso shopping district. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils.
所有评语 » Our stay was very comfortable, Kitchen was very well equiped....Awh i can go on and on. It is true what The Village Lodge states, Same as a hotel price.......but OMG! you get so much more. i highly recommend this place. I will definitely stay there again. Although the property is older, it was a very nice and comfortable place to stay. It was a really nice alternative to the usual hotel environment. Loved being able to eat meals in and save money! The Kitchenette was great!. The lady behind the counter was super nice. Rooms were very nice, especially for the price! Off the beaten path, quiet! Had everything you needed, including a makeup area for my wife away from the regular bathroom!. The staff was exceptionally nice. The accommodations were a little dated, but clean and well kept. The area was quiet even though it was right off of a major thoroughfare. The condo felt like home away from home and cozy, clean, quiet,loved the hot tub, trees and staff! I realy got my moneys worth and will stay more times in the future. Very comfortable. Good location. Short drive to main street/shopping. We were visited by deer right outside our window every night. Very relaxing. we stayed at Village Lodge several times about 20 yrs ago. I was amazed at how well maintained it was, and told management so. Size of rooms. Convenience. Privacy. Everything we needed was supplied. Close to nature. Quiet area. I liked that there was an extra vanity/sink in the bedroom. I liked that the A/C really worked good. enjoyed the location, the cabin itself. it was quiet clean. I am so ready to come back again!. Room was clean and roomy. Everything we needed was there. People at lodge were very friendly. Place was very cozy and clean. Carpet needed repair but we would stay again!!. The room was big and great for families. Great location and great price!. Clean. Mountain environment. Close to everything. The way the out side look very nice and groom. Everything we needed was there for us. great location, very pleasant stay. Very nice people running the lodge. the location and apartment set up. Value, bed was excellent, roomy. The room was clean and spacious. We had a great time. thank you. Comfort, friendly atmosphere. a pool. Hottub. The king size bed was very nice and comfortable. The mini kitchen was nice addition. nice clean rooms and good location peaceful. Very comfortable bed Plenty of hot water. Being near the mountains and shopping was nice. Good location, less crowded. My only complaint is the heater in my room was loud and kicked on every 10 minutes. The TVs are alot smaller than what we are used to, espcially with kids. But it didn't seem to bother them!. Bed, not so comfy...thats the only thing wrong with this room!. Had to leave. A little outdated but everything else makes up for it. Small kitchen. Could have enjoyed more if only we had pans to cook with. All other kitchen utensils were provided. We will definitely stay here in the future. Our room was upstairs. Would have preferred ground level because of health issue with walking & stairs. Bathroom was dated. Everything was great!!. The bed was not controble at all and the air condishener was not working good at all. Plus there was rude resendens that kept putting ugly notes on our car. Would not stay there again. Not enough parking. liked everything. The bed mattress was very hard and not to comfortable. Being upstairs. The spa was only 80 degrees. The description stated no dogs but there were others who had dogs...wish we could have brought our little dogs! Didn't understand why the brochure stated no dogs?. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. Not as clean as it should of been. Very outdated furniture, flooring, bathroom. The dishes were not clean had to wash dishes before using them. facility is showing its age. Housekeeper was rude, I felt like I was putting her out when I asked for extra stuff. The carpet was old and worn out it also wasn't very clean. There were spiders and the shower would leak after you took a shower. The microwave was old and had rust inside it, which I requested another one. Had to plug in toaster in the bedroom, because there wasn't enough oulets. The price was too expensve and pictures of the units were different from the unit we rented. I will not be staying here in the future. The bed was saggy which had been covered with a foam overlay which did not help. I lost payment for 2 days leaving early because of the bed aggrevating my back. Carpet and furnishings were old and worn. I stayed there 9-10 years ago, but it has not had any updating since it appears.
