I made reservation for Sat-Sun but came to check in early on Friday. The receptionist told me that my room is not available but he gave me a better room for the same price, well, not really better, just a room with 2 beds. But the people were very nice.
most of the town was booked already. the location was great. price was good.
Room was what I needed, close to family reunion at Peppermill.

The room was clean and comfortable.
Quiet part of town.
very basic accommodation. not enough towels or pillows. staff was helpful and friendly.

room was kind of small for three people.
1. I didn't like their making a copy of my driver license - Reno PD requirement, they said. Maybe so, but first time. 2. TV not good, flitting in & out. I said nothing. 3. I unsubscribed from promotional emails, but they still come daily. Did I do it wrong?.
The door key had to be reprogrammed the first 2 times I returned to my room. I was given a replacement key the last time and it didn't happen again.
Arrived Fri. afternoon and room wasn't cleaned until Sun afternoon.

altho not advertised, thought there would be a frig and microwave, or at least a frig. ice machine was broken. TV was an old style box type. located on corner of a busy intersection.
Don't like smoking room cause all blanket had a hole in them and whole room sleep bad.
sparce furniture,one towel, no frig, no microwave.
No Coffee Set-up; No shampoo/conditioner samples; Not enough towels (2 lg towels for 4 adults; Had to ask multiple times for towels); Small pillows (asked for additional pillows multiple times); Out of ice; Outside of motel looked filthy.
For the price I didn't expect anything fancy but the appearance leaves a lot to be desired. The biggest concern though was when my key didn't work at first the office staff simply asked what room I was in and re-keyed it for that room but never verified who I was through name/ID (meaning I could have gained access to any room had I wanted to).
there weren't enough towels in the room each day, the pillows were as flat as pancakes. I had to call the office at 3 a.m. because guests were outside out door swearing and yelling.
