The staff was very friendly and even though we could not check in early we could still park our car with them while we went to the beach. They also let us stay parked the next day until three even though check out was 11 am. The best part was they let us get fresh towels and use the shower before we drove home at 3 pm. Felt very safe there and had no problems walking to beach and shops. rooms very clean, quiet, staff friendly, room was ready early n we checked in 3 hrs early...accommodations were adequate the balcony was nice, the pool was good, the pool balcony was nice for chatting and relaxing on. we really enjoyed this hotel, nice walk to beach, bar nearby never heard loud music, great shopping...<3 this place! will definitely return....
所有评语 » We had a fantastic time, kids enjoyed the pool & the location was prefect for us to move about town & sight-see. Staff was SUPER accommodating (Nicole)!! And, let us check in a little early, which was SO great after biking all the way from Margate, NJ. Would stay again & again!! :). Being right on Rehoboth's Main Street but far enough from the boardwalk that it was quiet was great, as was the rooftop pool. The desk staff was friendly and helpful - we extended our initial reservation and they were nice about it. I would definitely stay here again. The price was amazing ! The shower was amazing!! I did check my bed before I fell asleep and look at mattress and sheets and blankets and they were all clean!! Really when u go to the beach do u need fancy stuff I don't cuz I will be a the beach not in my hotel!!. $79 a night, for the location hard to beat. We loved the shower water pressure, felt so good. Bed comfort was decent. rooms were clean. Front desk guys were friendly. Right along the main strip for shopping/dining and only a couple block to the beach. I was surprised at how clean the motel was took my 5 year old nephew to the beach it was his first trip the motel was perfect for this he is still talking about the trip loved the pool and the balcony we all will return next season. The location was so close to the beach. No need to pay the $8 a day for beach parking since you can walk. So close to food, half block from Dunkin.Donuts. Also the motel had a great rooftop porch ans indoor pool. This was my first time staying at Sandcastle Motel, and I will definitely be back.The. staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and clean.Oh yeah, the shower has some of the hottest water I have ever felt. the room was quiet, beds comfortable,had a fridge, friendly staff, close enough to walk to the beach, near good restaurants, had parking, although the place is very basic in appearance it was satisfactory. Only 2 blocks from boardwalk. Easy walking distance for restaurants and shops. Affordable. Easy and friendly staff. Extra clean room with air conditioning in good order. Would definately stay there again. Close to boardwalk, lots of shopping to do along the street & boardwalk, lots of different restaurants to choose from, short drive to OC, indoor pool is great to relax in, staff is very friendly. We spent one night there, Good Friday. Great rate for the off-season. Very friendly staff and clean room. On-site parking and being close to the boardwalk was a plus. I liked that the pool had an outside patio for me to soak up the sun and still see the kids in the pool through the glass. It made it very relaxing for me. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. And the location (2 blocks from the boardwalk) was worth it. The mid-week price couldn't be beat either. The location is great and right in the heart of Rehoboth Beach. It's very convenient to great restaurants, local shops and just a few blocks to the beach. I loved the location and the friendly staff. the pictures on the internet are probably old pictures because the rooms were better then I expected. The location was perfect, the room was clean, the sun roof was a very nice place to chill out with friends and the staff was very nice and helpful. The front desk clerk, a lovely African-American woman whose name I failed to remember, was friendly, welcoming and helpful. She is a real asset. Close to the beach and stores. Excellent value. Clean. Housekeeping was a little erratic (it was hard to signal our room needed cleaning and get it cleaned as expected) and the amenities feel in need of a sprucing up to repair damage or signs of use (the pool chairs were rundown and the enclosure was cluttered) . The linens could definitely be upgraded. I would suggest putting small brooms and dustpans in each room so guests can sweep up the sand that inevitably gets scattered everywhere. Parking. Smells old. the glass door to the stairwell on floor 1 was cracked/broken, needs repaired. Parking garage can be a bit tricky. The bed was not comfy. Our room was on the back side of the hotel so the view was not very good from our balcony. This was only a minor inconvenience since we spent very little time there. Could use some updates. Hot water was too hot -- could easily scold someone, especially a child. Had a problem with that change in water temperature in the bath tub while showering--really have to fix that. The view of the police department parking lot. Wish I could have gotten a front view. I think I would have liked it more if there was a hot tub. It's very bare bones and "old". No view, flickering flourescent lights in the bathroom, old, crumbling grout. It really is a place just to sleep. The hotel is outdated, and the beds aren't very comfortable. The hotel is located right next to a municipal building that runs a very loud test siren daily. The motel is very outdated, there are no microwaves in the rooms but all in all it is a good place to stay at. On the night of August 13 at 11:30 pm, I called the front desk and ask if they would speak with the family in the room next door and ask the kids to use their "indoor voices." The clerk took no action and the high noise level continued for another hour. Common areas dingy. Creaky beds, noisy A/C. bad view. Wish the elevator was a little quicker.....other than that....I will alaways book my room there.staff are veeeery nice people.:). The only thing I didn't like was the price. For almost $600 for two nights the hotel should have been in better shape. The patio area was poor due to lack of umbrellas and the sauna that was there wasn't usable. The pool was decent. A complimentary breakfast should be offered if you want to price yourself with the upscale hotels. Price gouging is unappealing. Entrance and exit of parking garage is downright dangerous. Pool was disappointing--we did not use it at all. Small fridge was nice--a microwave would have been a plus. The parking spots and garage was kind of tight/small. nothing really, maybe you could add breakfast?. Furnishings and room were shabby and had not been updated in a long time. elevator was slow. The hotel really needs some upgrading, coffeemakers and microwaves in the rooms would be nice. We have been staying there for number a of years and remodeling is past due. We were not happy with the rate increases this year and the lack of dicounts that had been available in years past. We are not sure if we'll be returning next year or look for new accomodations. Hallways were a little dark, no fitness center. The towels ate very small and the decor is dated. Grimy stairwells and limited breakfast selection. The TV in the room was an outdated box type and should be updated to a flatscreen. The hotel did not provide an iron in the room. No microwave in the room. wish there was a microwave in the room, and the pool had earlier(to exercise) and later(to relax) hours. Hotel was outdated. Parking: small tight area difficult to access View: listed as city but really mostly see the parking garage. nothing pool was a little small but still nice. Having to pay for ice - just inconvenient, not expensive. Facilities are outdated (old). Hallways smell a bit musty and garage is poorly lit. could use updating of rooms. parking was very tight. one small elevator.
