  This was the best 2 day vacation I have ever experienced. The staff was excellent and friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding.   The hotel was beautiful, had old-world charm but all the modern conveniences, including a refrigerator in the room. The tall ceilings, big window, and huge bathroom were fabulous.   This hotel was the first hotel that I've stayed in that when I walked in the room it was a clean smell. The bed was comfortable, the location was in a great place, the breakfast was delicious, and the over all thing was that the hotel was clean. If I needed anything the staff was there. It's a bit more expensive than most of the other hotels but the Harbour Town location is a beatiful place to relax whilst still being close to the downtown area of Memphis (20 minute stroll or $10 taxi). Our room was large and airy, very comfortable a little way out of town, but that was OK for us, as we didn't want a big city hotel chain. Very personal, very friendly, very individual. All in all a very good experience compared to large hotels and some very expensive hotels. This is the least we have paid in the past few years of travelling, and one of the most positive experiences
