  I loved the in-town location, being able to park my car and never get in it again til it was time to leave. You could look out the windows and see the harbor, James Town, and Goat Island in the distance. The shopping was fabulous. Everything within walking distance. I didn't go to the mansions as I've done that in the past but all that did loved them. As I left Newport I - We loved being in the thick of things in downtown Newport. We Loved Jane, the manager, who was very thorough, friendly, and helpful. We loved the sheets and th comfort of the bed. We Loved th view of the harbor from our room and the spaciousness of our room and sitting area.For the price, some higher qualitybaked goods would have been betterfor the included continental breakfast.   It had everything that we needed. The staff were especially helpful and informed us that the shuttle would take us to a restaurant for lunch.   Bill and Mary were so friendly and accommodating. They were flexible with a later check-in, allowed us to keep our bikes out back, and park in their drive-way past check out. They were really superb hosts! - Rose Inn was walking distance to all of the shopping and restaurants in Newtown. They have off street parking so we saved having to pay for parking on the strip. The breakfasts in the morning were wonderful and I looked forward to it each morning. The owners were so kind and had many recommendations for us. Our towels were replenished daily and our sheets turned down nightly, it was lovely.

  Enjoyed the facility itself, but the staff made our stay more pleasurable. The location was within walking distance to almost all of Newport. I will go again. - I love that the hotel is unique and desn't feel like any chain hotel. I also love the history of the hotel and that it has been open since 1929.

For example they always wanted to help with our stroller going up and down the stairs. This is an old house so it´s kind of narrow in the hallways but it was no problem getting around. The location is - We loved our visit to Newport and will stay here again! The staff was wonderful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area.   I know it was for the people taking early flights, but having breakfast available really early before our running event was excellent! - Clean, comfortable, non-smoking room. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice selection of breakfast food. Would stay here again.
