  We were not originally given a room w/ 2 full/queen beds as indicated on website. The hotel said we could pay an extra fee for upgrade. Website indicated we were paying for this already. After some discussion, hotel staff moved us to a room w/ 2 full size beds. However, the refrigerator did not work. My husband commented that the rooms were smelling fresh and he would recommend Sea Trail Golf Resort to others.

  Even though it rained and was a dreary weekend, the atmosphere inside the Inn was cosy and warm. There was plenty to do and a variety of places to eat right there and once we parked we didn't have to get out and drive around in the pouring rain to keep ourselves fed and entertained. You could tell everybody felt that way because the staff and guests were friendly and relaxed. - The Grove Park Inn has a spectacular huge entrance with massive fireplaces--looks like the big lodges in National Parks. The old part of the Inn is historic and the setting is lovely in the mountains and on a beautiful golf course. The staff was very friendly and helpful for the most part. The full breakfast buffett is huge and rather expensive but you also can get less expensive food in the shop areas. The grounds are very well kept.

  Awesome, nice, clean rooms. Very great for the cheap price! Breakfast was amazing. Staff very helpful and kind. We will definitely be going back to this resort soon! All trips to Charlotte, we will choose only this hotel in the future! - Hotel was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious.
