  The total ambience with all the antiques and shutters and the lovely deck abutting our room was wonderful and it was very quiet and yet close to all the shopping, restaurants, tourist ventures etc. Our room was always clean and a nice place to stay. She is a true professional and deserves - The hotel staff at the front desk was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay such a pleasure.   Maui is a beautiful small island and Kahului is conveniently located to explore the many sites it has to offer or get on exiting tours. The hotel has an excellent activity desk that helps book tours/shuttles and advises which sites to visit. Side note - unlike most hotels it was very very dark and quiet at night, this made for a restful night's sleep!

  The condo was on the beach and offered excellent facilities. It was light and airey and there was free parking facilities and wifi. Geographically the condo was easily to find and was in a good position to access other places on Maui. It was lovely to wake up in the morning to look over the Pacific ocean. Since then there has been quite a bit of development of other hotels in the area since then but there is still a feeling of space because of the surrounding golf courses.   This was our first trip to Maui from Canada and I booked our stay at the Courtyard because I knew we would be tired after travelling for so many hours. Other hotel coffees tend to miss the mark. This is so important when you wake up and need to get your day started! I also loved the onsite laundry facilities - it helps keep clothes fresh since we go through many clothes with the heat and humidity.
