  The staff was awesome at every level. The landscaping was so, so pretty. Having the pool and hot tub right on the water made it even more relaxing.   Compared to other accommodations in Portland this place was reasonably priced. Our room was large, comfortable and nicely furnished. My husband and I are both over 50 but we walked to the har - Very friendly, accommodating staff. the room was quite comfortable, but a little too close to the front desk, the hub of activity, but in all fairness I did request a room close to the exit as my husband is handicapped. I liked the location, the fact it was pet frieindly - I wish I had brought my dog. I loved having hot coffee available 24/7. Was a great place to stay in Portland! Wouldn't hesistate to stay again!

  We were a party of 2 couples with 2 rooms. When we checked in, we were told that they ran out of rooms with double queen beds, so both rooms were upgraded to suites at no extra charge. We certainly got off to a good start! Everyone at the hotel was always courteous and friendly and ready to help. As the person who picked this hotel, I was glad that everyone in our party was happy - Stayed at the Atlantic Oceanside's downtown apartment in Bar Harbor, The Song of the Sea. It was perfect! Centrally located downtown with a beautiful view of the harbor and Bar Island, it was perfect for our family of 5. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living area was great and the washer and dryer was a added bonus. Decorated nicely, very clean and the parking spot two blocks away was great. Will only stay there on our next visit to the wonderful Bar Harbor/Acadia area!

  Hotel location was excellent. Motel is not modern buy very clean, spacious and bed very comfortable. We were lucky with the wheather in october. 24 C for 2 days. Because of the US Federal Shutdown, the Parks were closed but we decided to walk the beautiful trails up to Cadillac Mountain - 4 miles up and 4 miles down.   I had amended my booking on letsbookhotel.com from 1 to 2 nights but for whatever reason we were only booked in for the 2nd night. The women on the front desk dealt with this so subtly and efficiently that we were in our room 10 minutes later! It's sad that more people don't treat their customers so well as they did. Plus it's located near a busy main ro - The staff, housekeeping, cleanliness of room, comfort of the room, the breakfast included with the room, 24 hr coffee, chocolate chip cookies, the hardworking staff in charge of the breakfast (she was tireless), hotel is located near all the modern conveniences to include shopping, food, gas, etc. My room was very quiet as well.
