  This is a nicely decorated hotel with updated facilities and very comfortable bedding. Well appointed, richly decorated, compact rooms. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful.   I liked the fact that the hotel was very well maintained and quiet although it was located very close to the busy section of the French Quarter, which I also liked. I also liked the public parking garage that was very close by and cost much less than the hotel's price of $30 per night for parking on the premises. - Very Quiet and clean.   We stayed for one night on the way to Hattiesburg and not wanting to stay in New Orleans due to price, we drove to Slidell. What a pleasant surprise. We arrived at 1am after 20 hours travel and the staff member on was welcoming. It is modern, clean and the breakfast which is included in the price was great.   I liked that it was in a quiet street but only a five minute walk from the hub of activity. I absolutely loved the Ruby Slipper right next door for breakfast every morning, why go anywhere else!!   The room was big and well kept. We enjoy the pillows on the bed which were very comfortable as well as our (2) large queen size beds.
