  We loved everything. We have stayed at several large and boutique hotels on the Gold Coast and the Peninsula is probably the best across the board. I have a difficult last name, but all of the staff immediately remembered it and also pronounced it correctly. - The location couldn't have been more convenient!   The hot breakfast was very nice. Did not hear any highway noise. We did not use the pool but it looked OK, too. It was very close to the Effingham Performance Center which we appreciared. - Wonderful staff. Very nice rooms, spacious and comfortable. Linens and bed mattress very comfortable. Free wifi. I would highly recommend this hotel.

  The hotel is in an excellent location. I really like the courtyard and the clean environment.The staff were excellent especially the janitors - 5 star service. Warm and friendly staff. The fact that they do not accept tips made their committment to excellence all the more valid.

  It was everything you except out of a Embassey Hotel. Staff was awesome. We left our Ipad in the room and they called us rightaway to return to get our Ipad. Impressed! Breakfast omelet was awesome. The waffle was not up to par but everything else was great.   Had a death in the family in Antioch. We couldn't have found a better place to stay. Room was great, hospitality great and what blew us away was the Breakfast. The lounge and entertainment was also a plus. Never expected what we walked into. Also, the slots were also great!   We traveled with an 8 year old. The room even with a rollaway bed was very large. The city/lake view was great. The highlight for our child was the dessert - a snickerdoodle ice cream sandwich - from the restaurant. It is conveniently located. - It was our 25th anninersary.
