Get what you pay for. Staff friendly and helpful. Large rooms with fridge and microwave. We stayed there for a deep sea fishing trip, which departed right across the street. We'll stay there again for our next fishing trip. Staff was excellent, friendly, helpful, professional. Rooms were updated, pool and outside apperance extreamly clean for a old establishment. Check in was quick and pleasent, cont. breakfest good, dinning area excellent.

I had one of the remodeled rooms loved the shower and my bed was comfortable. I liked that it was roomy not small and crampt. Size of room - floors - accommodation - proximity to dining and marina. Every thing was always clean , staff was amazing and very helpful !!!. Close to everything in Port Aransas. Fair price with nice rooms. nice and clean, room .Plenty of clean towels.will book again. Staff very friendly, ease of access to everything. Big room and clean. Good values. Did not have to wait for front office service. Sheets looked clean. Air conditioning worked quickly. My son enjoyed the pool. The location is great. Location. The staff, as they did try to see to our needs by letting me retrieve a table and chairs from another room. That there was no carpet in the rooms. The location was good. Location to beach. Location. not a thing. Need more picnic tables it was a group of us that stayed there and we used your picnic area but didn't have enough sitting area for all of us. Other than that no other problems. Bed was lumpy - not enough towels - pool area was not kept up with. I kept sneezing from dust in air vent... They booked my stay one day short. Being on the second floor. Mattress too springy feeling & pillows too soft. Mopping the floors would be nice. Few breakfast choices. Pricey. The shower clearly hadn't been cleaned because the prior guest's used products were still there. The management was very rude. This used to be a great place with friendly host. The beds were worn and lumpy it has lost the prestige of the past. Not clean. No desk or chair in room, ice machine was broken, sewer smell coming from shower drain, no door seperating tolet from rest of bathroom area. Best to say this place was a dump and not worth the money. That the floor had not been mopped in ages. Staff was extremely rude. Dirty room. Food on floor and inside welcome guide. Dirty sheets ( had someones else's hair on sheets). Smelled musty and room was in need of paint. Lamp shades were broken as well as stopper in bathtub. The vending hut was cleaner than the room. Room was old...equipment dated...needs remodeling. Facility was old and run down. Beds were not comfortable and towels were extremely rough. Bed was very hard and noisy. Too much noise outside door. Pool was dirty. Sign in clerk very unfriendly. She is in the wrong business. Won't stay there again. Not worth the money.
