The location to Olympic Park& easy acess to all of the Olympic Penn. The lodge is lovely & succeeded in offering a calming atmosphere, with beautiful waterfalls& views of the adjacent golf course.The 2 story windows & great fireplace in the lobby greet you at the entrance.The rooms in the back are worth the extra price,as they look out onto the golf course& the tops of the Olympic Moutsins! Excellent Lodge!Located near the city& restaurants, but you don't feel that whe.
所有评语 » Although the hotel is clean, comfortable, and relatively spacious, the standout is the staff. They were always courteous and very helpful at late hours of the night. In the morning, We needed to rush for the ferry, they quickly packed a breakfast for us with danishes and bagels. Great job all around. We checked in late and found that the hotel was still open and had no problems. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We really enjoyed the breakfast and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The hotel is very beautiful, and with an excellent relation quality/price. All the details are well kept, and is a wonderful base to explore the gorgeous surroundings... The rooms and lobby were beautiful and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was the best hotel we stayed at on our 2 week trip. Friendly, helpful. Clean, comfortable, well appointed. Nice big windows opening to hilled green golf course, pretty and very open and relaxing. The amenities of hot tub/pool,exercise room and lounge areas are well done. Room facilities - beds / bathroom / furnishings / fridge, were good. Originally had a room facing the street which meant road noise& no view... the rooms facing the golf course offer a whole different experience, esp if you spend any time in the room. No other dislikes, everything else was perfect. I have tried to stay the hotel before and is always been booked. It is apparently very popular at some times of the year. I'm glad that I finally got a chance to try it out. We did not like Port Angeles, however this was not the hotel's fault. Nothing at all. Everything was perfect. Nothing. The price could be a little lower. We couldn't get the car in the car park one evening, but later found there is another car park the other side of the hotel. Extra charge for pack n' play. Breakfast is limited. Each night at 7ish, the desk called us. The first night they wanted to welcome us. We were already asleep due to jet lag. Very annoying. It is nice to have a restaurant and a bar for the evening, but the staff were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and there was at restaurant within walking distance. bathroom sink counter and the other sink counter too small since the lodge is outside of town, should have a small bar for a glass of wine. no outlet for coffee maker anywhere near. Room above pool area too noisy - must keep window closed to keep out noise. WiFi service didn't quite make it to our room (we were top floor at the end of the hall). Overpriced. Would not allow late check out with 50% charge from 12 to 2 - We had come to run a marathon that did not finish until noon and would not have stayed there knowing we could not return to shower and be able to check out at 1pm. The cost of a motel style room was $170 for one night. If we come back to run the race again, we will most certainly look elsewhere. This is the very first time we have encountered an extra charge for a one hour delayed checkout in the US. Air conditioner too loud. Could have used a small lounge to get a beer or wine while enjoying the beautiful lobby. No restaurant.No Canadian TV channels. The breakfast menu was quite high-priced, so we opted to eat elsewhere. Nothing. no newspaper except local available in lobby on weekend. The wi-fi speed is very low and weak signal in the room. The sound from other rooms and the pool area are very noticable. Seemed to me to be cold and unwelcoming - just wanted to get away as soon as poss in the morning. 1. Told the room we were in wes directly over the kitchen vents after we were awakened about 530am. Told we should not have been put in that room while there were still other rooms available This is a major factor in a decision about ever staying there again, we have stayed there every time we have traveled through Port Angeles 2. Told there is no soup on weekends just weekdays. We were staying Sat night.
