Loved these apartments! Reminded me of prewar buildings in nyc. Incredible attention to detail with instructions for everything, labels, directions, maps. Very well thought out execution. Rooms nicely and newly decorated. Hardwood floors...yeah! 3 short blocks to a great small shopping district. Excellent free wifi, well equipped kitchen, tons of storage and a lovely terrace. Loved it!. Very friendly and helpful staff every time I interacted with them. Leone was especially friendly and personable. He hung out and kept me company in the office one night as I waited for a cab that I later found out would take over 2 hours to get there (i just ended up driving). The room was very nice and I really appreciated that the furniture was left how I had rearranged it.
所有评语 » The suite was very specious and felt like an apartment. It was tastefully decorated with Picasso drawings and neutral colors. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room very comfortable. There was a LOT of storage. It would be a great place for a long stay, as it provides a peaceful retreat to a congested city area. I traveled with my family and stayed at the Shadyside Inn. We are all very impressed with the sservices, cleanliness, and location of the place. Night staff, Leon was extremely helpful and nice. We would definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to the others. Love the layout of the suites. Had everything you needed while still being clean and streamline in an attractive and relaxing way. Also very private, because of layout, one doesn't really see the other guests to much. Walking distance to very cute shopping/eating area. The hotel had more of an apartment feel and I liked that it had a full size kitchen as well as laundry in the basement plus free parking. These things all added to convenience and saved us money. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends. Unusual - its an apartment building that has been rehab'd. It's still set up like an apartment building and each unit is just like an apartment. Loved it......awesome concept. I really liked that there where two rooms in our suite. The kitchen was clean and the staff was so helpful. It was our first time in Pittsburgh. We will definitely be return customers.Everything was amazing. What a great surprise to being staying in what was really an apartment of sorts. Perfect location, super easy to find. The accommodation is a bit expensive but its worth the money. The building feels more like an apartment complex rather than a hotel. Excellent place. 4 miles from centre but in the lovely neighbourhood of Shadyville. Beautiful apartments. Great value. It was great to have coffee on the balcony in the morning. Comfortable bed; cute apartments. The master bedroom was near fifth street and was noisy with window open. Small thing. A lack of dish cloths and a plug for my kitchen sink. I used one of the face clothes from the bathroom but I really don't think that's what they were meant for. The bathroom is tiny and antiquated, with a screened window and old toilet. A fan and new fixtures would have made it great. Mirrors in my bedroom where too high. Had to stand on bed to see. Which put me up in the ceiling fan. Other than that everything was great. Overall, my stay was great and the room was tidy and offered ample space, however, there were a few things that could have been cleaner. Whatever the hardwood floors are cleaned with left the floor sticky and left the bottom of my socks dirty. I have hardwood floors at home and use a steam mop which seems to be the best thing to clean wood floors. There were also a few long hairs in the room and in the bedding that was kind of unpleasant to find. Nothing...... totally satisfied customer. Cleanliness of floors not up to par, hairs were present in at least 2 rooms. Not enough parking. But that's expected in a big city. The elevator is very slow. 4 miles out from downtown. Kitchen wasn't well-stocked. During the night I was awoken several times by noise sound similar to a ball being bounced on floor above, or a very large drip hitting metal ductwork. I assume old plumbing or ductwork problems due to older building. Outdated bathroom, old building so you could hear the other guests. the bathroom was extremely small and cramped. suggestion: minimize the unnecessary kitchen and remodel/enlarge the bathroom. I wish the building had an elevator. bit musty corridoor, but it's an old apartment complex. Worst public transportation. If you plan on going downtown get a rental car. The towels in my room were dirty; no elevators; shuttle didn't go very far; could use more attention to detail.
