From the moment you check in you feel relaxed. I originally booked for 2 nights but liked it so well I stayed for 5. All the rooms face the ocean. I booked a kitchenette room which was perfect for my needs. The walls must be pretty thick as I never heard any of my neighbors. Since this is a time share you take out your garbage and make your own beds. They have a great linen exchange system when you want fresh towels and sheets. They also offer maid service for a small fee if you prefer. If you.
所有评语 » The staff was very welcoming and very personable. The rooms were large and well appointed for a long stay. The only reason I could not mark excellent on all items is that they were under construction in some areas which makes things a bit distracting but will be beautiful when finished. Excellent Coffee I might add and I am a coffee fanatic. Although the beach-front accommodations were great , I want to use this space to give the staff an A Plus. It was obvious their goal was to make sure their guests were happy, well cared for and would want to return. I’d also recommend the on-site restaurant. Great food, great prices and once again efficient and wonderful staff. Everything. We stayed during biketoberfest and the staff was great. Location was great. Thought it was awesome that they had a bike wash station set up for the guest. Had a great time in the heated pool and hot tub at night. Nice balconies. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to the Daytona area. The room was large, had a great view, was convenient and a very good price. I loved having the kitchenette! Also, the staff was very helpful. We had some car trouble and they were very understanding when we couldn't leave at checkout time. I would definitely recommend the Maverick!. The staff was awesome. Although the term "resort" may be a bit misleading, the staff was great,the room was very clean and updated, and the location was nice. The value for the week-end was incredible. We definitely will return to the Maverick. Great location , all rooms have ocean view, clean and comfy, easy access .. we stayed there for one night with friends ( 4 of us) and we were very happy .. clean bathroom and room... would definitely stay there again. I do not stay at to many places but went there two days for my birthday and was very happy with it did not get to use pool or anything out side due to bad weather but in side was nice and staff was very nice. Loved the view from my balcony and awaking to ocean surf and gorgeous sunrise. Guest services extremely helpful and offered great advice & support when my cell phone died and had no way of communicating. The all beach front rooms with balcony. Location of resort was close to attractions, restaurants and Publix. Heated pool and hot tub. Restaurant on site was reasonably priced and staff was friendly . Extremely good value, especially with the internet rate. It's hard to find a decent ocean view for $50. All rooms have an ocean view. Very rare, especially for this rate. I will go back !. The Maverick is a nice resort directly on Ormond Beach. The rooms are descent and clean. It's not the Ritz Carlton but a perfect place for a beach stay!. Surprised that the rooms were so nice. The bed was a little hard. the tile and grout in the room was gross. some things need upgrading. no breakfast included. Pillows were a little hard (but I'm really picky about pillows) Little noisy on balcony from pool but ocean was louder! :). Toiletries were limited. Late check in and early check out times. We were there for two nights and had to change rooms the 2nd night due to arriving time share owners coming in to our 1st day room. We were not told of this before hand. Furnishings were outdated but still very sufficient, especially for the price ?. The early check out time and late check in time... Nothing!. Decor a bit out dated in rooms but when at the beach who cares?. Did not like that we didn't stay there longer! Should have spent the whole vacation here! Just loved it!. nothing. Check-in time is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. Some of room.furnishings could be updated but overall we loved it!. Staff was very nice. Bed was soft as a marshmallow. Walls and ceiling needs updating. nothing. Gloomy dark corridors, old musty elevator. Our first room was on top floor. Roof repairs began the next day and the noise was intolerable. The staff moved us to another room and gave us free meals at the restaurant to compensate us, but no one likes to change rooms once unpacked. Couldn't find anything. Because of the price, I kept looking for something but found nothing wrong. There really wasnt anything I didnt like. Having to pay $2/day extra. No gym. In my friends room, the clocks didn't work. Lots of wires were plugged into an extension outlet (unattractive). No safe for valuables. Too easy to hear noise from rooms next door. Coffee was not provided in the room. Need WiFi in rooms. no bar. Appliances were older, but still functioning. The fact that it wasn't any wi-fi in the rooms. :(. there weren't enough service cart to port the luggage and they were very outdated. Mattress was thin and hard. Furniture was outdated wood. Due to location I would update with bright furniture- even wicker and brighten up drapes on interior wall and balcony door. loud people in the next room the first night. did not like having to change rooms on 2nd day. nothing. Pillows not soft enough. Room had small lingering smell of smokers room. elevators.
