The pillows are uncomfortable! They are too thick and hard; you need an alternative. I will bring my own next time, except when i fly! Thanks for listening.
Wonderful view from the room. Newly renovated room was very nice and spacious.
Hotel lacks a restaurant or bar.
Pillows were extremely uncomfortable.
The location was wonderful for exploring Olympia. We stayed on the third floor - a little outdated - but very clean and comfortable.
The smell of cigarette smoke everywhere, even though the place is a non smoking facility.
Staff was excellent, location good, morning breakfast excellent, older hotel, but comfortable, clean rooms. The hotel is within walking distance of the capital, waterfront and market. There was a parade and the staff put chairs out at the street for us so we could watch comfortably. They recommended a great restaurant for dinner. All in all a very good stay!
Very impressed with the Governor Hotel. It was our first time to Olympia, and I am so glad we ended up here. The staff was super nice (especially the concierge who helped us named Zane), the hot breakfast was great for the price of the room (no Super 8 ghetto meal here), our room was very clean and comfy with an amazing view and they upgraded us to a King Suite for free! Someone needed the room we had booked because it had 2 queens in it. The King Suite room 702 was really nice. The view was amazing, if Capitol lake, the Capitol building, and the West Bay. We enjoyed it so much we ended up staying in, not going out to dinner, and just walking a few blocks to the Bayview Thriftway store to get groceries and eat at the room.
The bathroom was kinda cramped in the King Suite, we kinda expected more room and possibly a bigger, more luxurious tub, there was no tv channel guide, and the elevators were rickety. Also the breakfast was already starting to end around 10am, so get there early!
Very funky and retro Hotel. First time visiting Olympia - for a wedding. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ample and good
Hotel needs some upgrading, elevator was a very bumpy ride - like going down a mine shaft!
We were upgraded to a king suite. Great bed, the room was nice but lacking air conditioning. Because the weather outside was still cool we were told that people wanted heat. However, the hallway on the 8th floor and our room was just too toasty. We opened the sliding glass doors. Overall experience was good. We had to keep in perspective that Olympia is an old town with old buildings and not chain suite hotels.
The breakfast was ok but not as good as we have experienced with other chain hotels. The layout was odd, but ok once we figured it out.
Location being in downtown Olympia allowed for easy access to all my needs.
Beds are very hard.
breakfast buffet was ok.
Hotel is showing it's age. Elevator was so creaky and noisy that we didn't like riding in it. Lobby too far from where you have to park in the back.
Location
Very dirty/filthy. Too pricey for that quality. The items in the buffet too were of cheap quality.
Nothing checked out early place is filthy and old couldn't stay one second longer
Filthy old dirty gross I think I get it
Included breakfast buffet.
This place is too old. Need renovation. Bathtub wasn't clean. Elevator made me nervous.
